Davis Cup Hospitality – Britain into Davis Cup Final

Great Britain have made the final of the Davis Cup for the first time since 1978 after a thrilling victory over Australia. We have provided official Davis Cup hospitality packages throughout the tournament, and we will be able to provide Davis Cup hospitality for the final once the venue is confirmed.

The British number one secured his third point of the match, and an unassailable 3-1 lead, with a comprehensive 7-5 6-3 6-2 win over Australian Bernard Tomic. Britain last won the Davis Cup in 1936 under the leadership of the legendary Fred Perry.

They will now face Belgium, who reached their first Davis Cup final in 111 years after Steve Darcis beat Argentina’s Federico Delbonis in four sets in Brussels. The final will be played from 27-29 November, with every likelihood that the home side will choose the clay surface to counter the strengths of Andy Murray.

Murray told BBC Sport, “Winning for your country and your team-mates means such a lot. The crowd were unbelievable from the first ball to the last. I didn’t feel great the whole weekend to be honest. I’ve been struggling with my back, but I just tried to disguise it.”
