Since the 2015 World Cup, England captain Eoin Morgan has helped England become an unstoppable ODI team.
With the ICC (International Cricket Council) Champions Trophy now underway England will look to win the tournament on home soil.
England’s rivals in the way of Glory
Defending champions India are one of the likely contenders alongside England for the ICC Champions. Their line-up includes one of the world’s greatest batsmen – Virat Kohli. Their bowlers are also a force to reckon with, players such as Rohit Sharma are virtually impossible to play against.
Other favourites include South Africa who has one of the best opening partnerships in the world in Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla. They, however, didn’t show their real potential in the warm-up series against England.
Other potential teams to look out for are Australia and New Zealand, despite the Black Caps being without their retired star, Brendon McCullum.
Champions Trophy groupings
