Willie Twiston-Davies in the saddle for Jewellery Quarter’s debut at Windsor Racecourse on Monday 29th June 2015. Also in the picture are stable staff from the Jamie Osborne team.
Jewellery Quarter enjoyed the education that her first racecourse experience provided. At home she has been a typical filly and as such we were interested to establish how she would deal with the preliminaries, the large crowd and of course the hustle and bustle of the race itself. We were delighted with how she reacted to the experience which we are confident she will build on. For full details of the race, please click here.
Her trainer Jamie Osborne said “In time she will need a distance, the initial runs are all about teaching her to be a racehorse.” Willie Twiston-Davies said that “She dealt with being squeezed out at the start and after being out-paced was going on at the finish”.
We all look forward to her next run, details of which will be posted on this site. If you are interested in being part of Jewellery Quarter or racehorse ownership in general, please do not hesitate to contact us.
