“When is Royal Ascot?”
The spectacular meeting takes place in June each year. Commencing on a Tuesday, and ending on a Saturday, with the special Ladies Day on Thursday. It is a highlight of the summer season! Royal Ascot 2020 starts on: Tuesday 16th June in 2020. The event lasts five days and reaches its climax on Saturday 20th June. A day to look out for is Ascot Ladies Day, which this year is scheduled for Thursday 18th June. Please note that all Royal Ascot 2020 dates are provisional.

“How long is Royal Ascot?”
Royal Ascot takes place over five days. During this, the gates open at 10:30am with the Royal Procession starting at 2:00pm. The first race usually begins at 2:30pm, whilst the last race commences at 5:35pm. Afterwards, guests are welcome to stay behind for any further entertainment such as singing around the bandstand – a tradition starting at 6pm. The day draws to a close between 8pm to 9pm.
