The Guards Club Polo Hospitality Packages & VIP Tickets
Guards Polo Club is based at Smiths Lawn, Windsor Great Park, accommodating ten polo pitches of 53 hectares. The club is one of only four clubs in the entire country to be qualified to hold elite high goal tournaments, and every year is host to the Queens Cup and International tournaments, both of which are massive events on the Polo calendar.
The Club consistently attracts the finest players, with many of the 160 playing members at Guards regarded as the best in the world. Players will come from across the globe including the Middle and Far East, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand to be part of this historic and prestigious club.
The Guards Club has a strong link with the Guards Division of the British Army and was originally known as the Household Brigade Polo Club. British Army Officers of the Household Division regiments, who hold the Queen’s Commission, are exempt from the Playing Members’ entrance fee, which is £22,000.
The Guards Club Polo season takes place each year, beginning in April and running through to September. The Guards Polo Club hosts three of the biggest events of the entire season during June with the Queen’s Cup (high goal), Royal Windsor (medium goal) and the Archie David (low goal) all taking centre stage at the London venue.
In July, Guards welcomes the Hurlingham Polo Association’s International Day – which regularly attracts 20,000 spectators for what is a truly unmissable event. The Club also hosts the Inter-Regimental Cup in July, The Duke of Wellington Trophy in August and the Nations Cup in September.
