Worcester Racecourse – Horse Racing Hospitality Packages
Worcester Racecourse is a historic racecourse located near Worcester City Centre, with races dating back to 1718. The home of summer jump racing is set stunning location in the heart of Worcester city centre by the River Severn. Until 1966, Worcester staged flat racing events but has since been exclusively National Hunt races, hosting 21 jump racing fixtures between April and October.
Worcester is just under 100 acres and is known locally as ‘Pitchcroft’. The layout is a left-handed oval circuit consisting of 3 furlongs with nine fences.
Situated close to the River Severn, Worcester Racecourse has been prone to flooding. The floods during 2007 caused all events that year after 30th June to be cancelled at Worcester.
Worcester Racecourse has acted as a venue for Worcester Rugby Club and Worcester City F.C.
