The Epsom Oaks is one of the oldest races in the racing calendar with its inaugural running taking place in 1779. Since then it has developed into one of the world’s most decorated sporting contests, having been won by some of the finest horses of all time.
One man has dominated the Epsom Oaks more than most in recent times and that is Italian supremo Frankie Dettori, who has conquered five of the 18 races since 2000. In 2017, Frankie Dettori produced a masterclass performance on Enable to beat hot favourite Rhododendron down the final straight at the Epsom Derby. Duchess’s Stand Private Box: A champagne reception, canapes on arrival, a four course seated lunch of buffet menu, a traditional afternoon tea, an inclusive bar of champagne, premium wines, premium spirits, beers, and soft drinks, full admission to the Grandstand Enclosure, an official racecard, access to the DJ After Party, and finally car parking on request (maximum of 1 per 4 guests).
