The London Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

At the London Stadium, the dress code is smart casual. We advise our guests to follow this guide of what type of clothes to wear on the day. Please be aware that these rules do not apply to those under the age of 12.

  • Tracksuits are not permitted.
  • Only home football shirts are permitted; if our guests arrive in ‘away’ football shirts, we have the right to refuse entry.
  • Jeans and trainers are allowed.

We would like to make our guests aware that oversized bags are prohibited when on arrival to the stadium, and small clutch purses are allowed.

Don’t miss West Ham United’s home games at London Stadium during the 2024/25 Premier League season. Last season saw them finish 9th and narrowly adrift of the European places. They did go far in last year’s UEFA Europa League, only being knocked out in the Quarter-Finals by the current invincible German Bundesliga Champions Bayer Leverkusen, managed by Xabi Alonso, 3 – 1 on aggregate over two legs.

Former Sevilla, Spain, Wolves and Real Madrid Head Coach Julen Lopetegui will be in charge of the club for the 2024/25 campaign, and there’s no doubt that the Hammers will be looking to disrupt the top-flight’s established order and secure a return to European Football.

Their new Spanish Boss has experience of success in European Football, having won the 2020 UEFA Europa League title with Sevilla thanks to a 3 – 2 win over Italian Heavyweights Inter Milan.

West Ham fans will be able to see all their old favourites as they aim to better last season’s finishing position of 9th and see the new players that Lopetegui adds to the squad during the 2024 summer transfer window. West Ham has already added Palmeiras’ Luis Guilherme and Sheffield United Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.

West Ham Transfers

To date, as of the time of writing, Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United have made a number of signings. They have signed Brazilian forward Luis Guilherme, who is a natural right winger, from Brazil Serie A Side Palmeiras for a reported fee of £25.5million. Meanwhile, English Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has joined the Irons from recently relegated Sheffield United on a free transfer. The Hammers have also signed central defender Max Kilman from fellow Premier League side Wolves for a fee that is rumoured to be £40 million.

Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville has also joined the club, signing for the Hammers for a rumoured fee of £25 million from EFL Championship outfit Leeds United. German forward Niclas Füllkrug has also signed for the East London club from German Bundesliga Heavyweights Borussia Dortmund for a rumoured fee of £27.5 million.

Argentinian midfielder Guido Rodriguez also agreed a move to Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United on a free transfer from Spanish Club Real Betis in the 2024 Summer Transfer Window.

OGC Nice central defender Jean-Clair Todibo has joined on loan from the French Club with an option to make his move a permanent one at the end of the season.

Right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also made the move to Lopetegui’s West Ham in the summer transfer window joining permanently from Manchester United for a rumoured fee of £15 million, signing an initial seven year contract with the club.

West Ham United History

The Club, now known as West Ham United, was originally formed as Thames Ironworks FC in 1895 due to the works team of the Thames Ironworks & Shipbuilding Company Limited. After being reformed in 1900, the Hammers joined the Football League Second Division in 1919, reached the FA Cup final, and was promoted to the First Division in 1923. Some of the finest players have represented West Ham United to lace up a pair of boots, including three of the men who inspired England to FIFA World Cup glory in 1966 – Captain Bobby Moore, hat-trick hero Geoff Hurst and fellow goalscorer Martin Peters.
