Anfield Stadium is world-renowned and has been home to LFC since 1892. The traditional four-cornered ground was formally home to Liverpool’s local rivals, Everton FC, and is admired for its close-to-the-pitch stands, which help to create an electric atmosphere. Anfield is known to be an incredible stadium with an exciting atmosphere – Anfield is an incredible stadium with a unique atmosphere, and we want you to enjoy your football experience as best as possible.

Anfield Stadium has four main stands: Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand, Main Stand, Anfield Road Stand and the Kop Stand. The stadium is separated into four classic seating categories, with away supporters sitting in the lower tier of the Anfield Road end. Enjoy the prime views with the Anfield Beat Lounge hospitality package, which boasts seating in BLOCK L15 of the Main Stand. The Reds fans can find the best views in the centre of either the Main Stand or the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand , as well as the famous Kop. 

Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand is named after the legendary former player and manager. The Centenary Stand, which was renamed in 2017 to celebrate Liverpool Football Club’s 100th anniversary, was rebuilt to commemorate the club’s 100th anniversary in 1992.

The Main Stand was the oldest remaining structure at Anfield before its redevelopment but has been recently built and opened in September 2016. The Anfield Road End, located directly across from the Kop, was renovated in the 1990s. It is divided into two layers, with the upper tier being the smallest.

The Kop was created as a reward for Liverpool fans after they won their second Champions League. The Kop, with its massive structure, can accommodate as many as 25,000 Reds fans.

The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

As Anfield offers elite Liverpool hospitality services, why not look the part? Avid Liverpool FC supporters will be glad to know that they can still deck out in your favourite team’s jerseys; however, you will be expected to maintain formal attire to reflect the sophisticated hospitality suites.

Anfield hospitality facilities permit:

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

Liverpool ended last season in 3rd place with a total of 82 points, which was enough to see them qualify and seal a return to the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League to the iconic and historic Anfield for the 2024/25 season.

Reds Head Coach Arne Slot took charge of the club on 20th May 2024. The Dutchman had come off the back of a three-year spell with Feyenoord between 2021 and 2024, where he won the 2022/23 Eredivisie title as well as the KNVB Cup in the 2023/24 season. The Anfield club are set to balance domestic and UEFA Champions League football this season.

Reds fans know that they are among the leading contenders to win the 2024/25 Premier League title, and last season, they picked up some significant results against the likes of Spurs (4 – 2), Chelsea (4 – 1), Newcastle United (4 – 2), West Ham United (5 – 1), and Everton (2 – 0).

Key dates for the Reds in the 2024/25 Premier League season include:

  • Merseyside Derbies: Everton (A) – Saturday 7th December 2024 & Everton (H) – Wednesday 2nd April 2025.

Liverpool Transfers

As of the time of writing, Arne Slot’s Liverpool have made two signings in the 2024 Summer Transfer Window. Firstly, they signed Georgian Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia for a rumoured fee of £25 million – he then returned to the Spanish La Liga Club on loan for the the 2024/25 season. The latest player to sign for the Reds is Italy forward Federico Chiesa, who signed from Italian Serie A heavyweights Juventus for a rumoured transfer fee of £10 million.

Anfield first opened its doors in 1884 and has been home to Liverpool F.C. since 1892. The stadium has a capacity of 54,074 and will be the first stadium in the UK to fit a Permavoid irrigation system, which will help speed up the drainage to ensure the pitch remains in the best condition for players during matches.

Liverpool History

Liverpool’s first game at Anfield occurred in 1892 and resulted in a 7-1 victory over Rotherham. Since then, “The Reds” have had phenomenal success, winning 19 top-flight titles, 7 FA Cups and 8 League Cups.

Following a split from Everton FC, the club was founded and joined the Football League in 1893, with Tom Watson at the head as manager. Under Mr Watson, LFC had its first successful period, claiming two League Championship titles. Before Jurgen Klopp arrived at Anfield, the Reds hadn’t won a trophy in twenty years. Five years into Jurgen’s reign, Liverpool FC acquired a Premier League title and six European Cups – more than any other British football team!
