British heavyweight star Tyson Fury is ending his latest retirement and returning to the ring on April 11, 2026, to face powerful Russian-Canadian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov.
The bout will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, a 64,000-seat venue that has hosted major fights before, and will be streamed live on Netflix.
Fury, 37, hasn’t fought since his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk and hopes this comeback leads to bigger matchups later in the year.
Makhmudov (with a strong KO record) aims to be a tough test and has publicly stated he wants to force Fury into retirement again.
A significant crowd is set to be in attendance at this North London-based venue for a much-anticipated high-profile fight that is sure to be enthralling and capture the imagination of boxing fans across the country and the world.
This will be the first time that Tyson Fury has fought at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since doing so in what was a competitive and victorious trilogy bout against another iconic boxer in the form of Derek Chisora back in 2022.
All eyes will be on Fury as he looks to emerge victorious against Arslanbek Makhmudov as he makes his return to the ring after coming out of retirement.
Ahead of the main event, the undercard features a high-profile fight between Conor Benn and Regis Prograis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Conor, son of Nigel Benn, previously fought at this North London-based venue back on 15th November 2025 in what was a victory in a rematch fight against Chris Eubank Jr, thanks to a unanimous decision from the judges. Benn had successfully gotten revenge after losing against Eubank earlier that year, also at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Over the course of his career to date, this has been his only defeat, having won all of his other 24 fights (14 by knockout) ahead of his bout with Prograis in North London.
As for the aforementioned Regis Prograis, the American is a former World Super Lightweight Champion, doing so back in 2022 and 2023. So far, the 37-year-old has taken part in 33 fights overall, winning 30 of them – 24 were by knockout. He has only suffered 3 defeats in his entire career so far.
Prograis’ most recent fight saw him beat Joseph Diaz at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, by a unanimous decision back on 2nd August 2025.
