Goodison Park was Everton’s home for generations, with the brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium set to be the home of the Toffees for countless generations to come. Everton’s game against Brighton in August 2025 will be the first ever competitive game to have ever taken place at this superb stadium, and it will be a truly historic occasion for the club and its supporters.

Construction of the new ground began all the way back on 10th August 2021, and over the course of the four years it has taken to build, it is estimated to have cost in the region an incredible £750 million. This promises a state of the art arena for all fans who attend matches here, where they can enjoy a top class match experience.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium is a world class modern stadium like the Emirates Stadium and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London and the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Memories are sure to be made at Everton’s brand new home, and with an exciting new era to come and with the team on an upward trajectory under Head Coach David Moyes, there are sure to be plenty of iconic moments to come at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Structure and facilities:

The capacity of Everton’s brand new stadium is as high as 52,769, and it consists of four stands, which are the North Stand, the East Stand, the South Stand, and the West Stand.

North Stand

The North Stand is directly behind one of the goals, and there is a family stand just to the west for a matchday experience to suit all. It is sure to have spectacular views of the action on the pitch.

East Stand

The East Stand is just behind a plaza where there will be a great atmosphere, and the seats offer fantastic views of the touchlines, where both the managers will be present, as will both team’s benches. It is a great place to view the action on the pitch, as well as the action that takes place in the dugouts as well!

South Stand

As for the South Stand, this part of the ground is set to create a simply spine tingling atmosphere, with what is set to be the ‘blue wall’. The capacity of this single stand is set to be no less than 14,000, whilst there is safe standing in the lower section to further immerse you in the action taking place in front of you on the pitch.

West Stand

The West Stand is to be accessed from the Western Boardwalk and Terrace, and it is home to a plethora of bars and restaurants. All of the seats are set to offer an incredible view of the action, with plenty of fans being able to enjoy amazing touchline views with the players mere metres in front of their very eyes.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium is located at Bramley-Moore Dock next to Regent Road. As for parking on a matchday, there will be private parking in the local vicinity with parking restrictions in place to stop parking in local streets. It is encouraged to use public transport instead.

There will be dedicated taxi ranks at the stadium as well.

How do I get to the Hill Dickinson Stadium by Bus?

The following bus services are available to use to travel to and from the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which are the 20, 26, 47, 56, and the T054.

Shuttle Buses are also available, and they will be running from the Liverpool City Centre as well as the Bootle Town Centre that will be taking you directly to the ground itself.

How do I get to the Hill Dickinson Stadium by Train?

The nearest train station to the Hill Dickinson Stadium is the Sandhills Train Station which is connected to city centre stations including the likes of Southport, Ormskirk, Kirkby, and as well as South Liverpool. There are plans to expand the stadium for matchday use as well in the future.
