Culture Club was founded in London in 1981, with lead singer Boy George, Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Mikey Craig (bass guitar), and Jon Moss (drums and percussion).

Boy George himself is widely recognised as one of the biggest innovators in both music and fashion over the last few decades.
