The iconic Wembley Stadium is set to play host to an incredible concert from Dua Lipa as part of her Radical Optimism World Tour. She is one of the world’s leading artists, and she memorably headlined Glastonbury when she performed on the famous Pyramid Stage back in June 2024. Dua Lipa will be performing some of her most famous songs with an incredible atmosphere to boot in the English Capital on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June 2025.

Dua Lipa has had an incredibly successful career to date, and it is a career that has spanned just over a decade as of the time of writing. After signing a deal with Tap Management in 2013, she went on to co-write a song called ‘Hotter than Hell’ before then signing a record deal a year later in 2014 with Warner Brothers Records.

Fast forward to August 2015, when her first single ‘New Love’ was released before then going on to release ‘Be the One’, her second single. ‘Be the One was Dua Lipa’s first highly successful single, reaching number one in Belgium, Poland, and Slovakia, whilst it also featured in the top ten in more than 11 other countries across the continent of Europe.

Then, on 26th August 2016, her fifth single, ‘Blow Your Mind (Mwah)’ was officially released, and this also enjoyed tremendous success. It got to number 30 in the UK, whilst it was also Dua Lipa’s first-ever entry into the US Billboard Hot 100, where it sat at number 72. This single also reached number one in the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, whilst getting to 23 in the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart.

After winning the EBBA Public Choice Award (now known as the Music Moves Europe Award) back in January 2017, and her single ‘Scared to be Lonely’, which was a collaboration with Martin Garrix, reached number 14 in the United Kingdom.

Dua Lipa’s first ever UK number one single, ‘New Rules’, was then released as part of her first album, Dua Lipa, on 2nd June 2017. In reaching number one in the British charts, she became the first to do so since Adele, who did so with ‘Hello’ back in 2015. It also reached number two in Australia, number six in the United States, and the top ten in eight other countries.

Dua Lipa received Brit Award nominations in more categories than anyone else in January 2018 – five. She was nominated for the MasterCard British Album of the Year (Dua Lipa), British Single of the Year (New Rules), British Video of the Year (New Rules), British Female Solo Artist, and the British Breakthrough Act awards. Dua Lipa won the latter two awards, and she was the first female artist ever to receive five nominations at the Brit Awards.

Her second number one, in collaboration with Calvin Harris, ‘One Kiss’, then arrived on 6th April 2018, topping the UK Singles Chart a couple of weeks later on 20th April. ‘One Kiss’ went on to top the UK Charts for no less than eight weeks in succession, and it was also the best selling song in the United Kingdom in the entire calendar year of 2018. Dua Lipa also performed at the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final and at that year’s F1 Singapore Grand Prix.

Fast forward to 2019, and her single ‘Don’t Start Now’ peaked as high as number two in the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. ‘Don’t Start Now’ broke the record for the longest stay in the UK top ten for a British female artist. It also peaked at number one in the UK’s Big Top 40 and in the US Billboard Mainstream Top 40.

In 2020, her album ‘Future Nostalgia’ peaked at number one in the United Kingdom’s Official Albums Chart and four of the singles on this album featured in the top ten of the UK’s Official Singles Chart.

Then, very memorably, Dua Lipa collaborated with the legendary Elton John on a remix of ‘Cold Heart’, as part of his 32nd studio album, The Lockdown Sessions, which was released back on 13th August 2021. This remix of ‘Cold Heart’ became Dua Lipa’s third UK Number One, and it also reached number one in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and 9 other countries. It was also in the top ten in Ireland, South Africa, and the United States.

When she arrives at Wembley Stadium as part of her ‘Radical Optimism’ World Tour, the following songs will be featured as part of Dua Lipa’s performance: ‘Training Season’, ‘One Kiss’, ‘Illusion’, ‘Break My Heart’, ‘Levitating’, ‘These Walls, ‘Be the One’, ‘Love Again’, ‘Pretty Please’, ‘Hallucinate’, ‘New Rules’, ‘Hated’, ‘Electricity’, ‘Cold Heart’, ‘Happy for You’, ‘Physical’, and finally ‘Don’t Start Now’. ‘Houdini’ then features as the Encore.

As of 2024, Dua Lipa has released three studio albums, 5 Eps (Extended Plays), and 35 singles. And, as of the time of writing, 4 of her songs have reached number one in the UK Charts, whilst she has also had 2 Number One Albums in the United Kingdom.

Collectively, Dua Lipa singles have spent a total of 113 weeks in the UK top ten, including 12 at number one. Her albums have spent a combined 5 weeks at number one in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, during her highly illustrious career to date, Dua Lipa has also won no less than 7 Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards. Time Magazine also featured her in its list of the top 100 most influential people in the world in 2024, and Dua Lipa also headlined at Glastonbury in the same year on the famous Pyramid Stage.

On Spotify, Dua Lipa’s songs receive more than 75.2 million monthly listeners, and, as of the time of writing, she features at 11th in the platform’s top 100 artists in terms of monthly listens.
