The most recent IT20 victory for England against these opponents took place on 27th July 2022, winning by a margin of no less than 41 runs. However, it was South Africa who won the most recent IT20 contest between these two nations on Friday 21st June 2024 by a margin of just 7 runs.

Overall, England and South Africa have faced each other on 26 occasions in total in IT20 Cricket so far, as of the time of writing. To date, it is South Africa who has the most wins with 13, which is very marginally superior to England’s current record of 12 victories against their Southern Hemisphere counterparts.
