Moving on to PSV Eindhoven, they finished in 14th place, which meant that they had to get through to the Round of 16 by participating in the Knockout Phase Play-Offs, where they had to face Italian Giants Juventus over two legs, beating the Old Lady 4 – 3 on aggregate.

In the League Phase, PSV’s victories came against the likes of Girona (4 – 0), Shakhtar Donetsk (3 – 2), and Red Star Belgrade (3 – 2).

Arsenal last came up against PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates Stadium was in a Group B Game last season. It was an emphatic and ruthless 4 – 0 victory on that night for the Gunners, with the hosts scoring their goals thanks to Bukayo Saka (8’), Leandro Trossard (20’), Gabriel Jesus (38’), and Martin Odegaard (70’).
