In the Premier League, Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea secured a return to the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League for the 2025/26 season by finishing in 4th place with 69 points obtained from their 38 games in the end.

The last time that Bournemouth faced Chelsea in the Premier League was back on Tuesday, 14th January 2025 at Stamford Bridge, where the two sides drew 2 – 2 in the heart of West London in the English Capital. Bournemouth got what was a creditable point, with the Cherries scoring their goals through the likes of Justin Kluivert (50’ – Penalty) and Antoine Semenyo (68’), whilst it was Cole Palmer (13’) and Reece James (90+5’) who scored the goals for the hosts that day, Chelsea.
