Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

Liverpool and Spurs are set to go head to head at Anfield in the second leg of this EFL Carabao Cup semi-final.

In what is the most high profile tie of the 2024/25 Carabao Cup Semi Final, Arne Slot and his Liverpool team will be taking on Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur team in the second leg of this tie on Merseyside at the iconic and equally historic Anfield in February 2025.

To get to this stage of the competition, the Reds managed to get the better of another fellow Premier League outfit, this time in the form of Southampton on the South Coast at the Saints’ St. Mary’s Stadium in the Quarter Finals. It was a competitive and tense 2 – 1 win in the end for the visitors, with the Reds eventually coming out on top thanks to goals from Darwin Nunez (24’) and Harvey Elliot (32’). Their most recent victory in the final of this competition was also against Chelsea in the 2007/08 season, where goals from Dimitar Berbatov (70’ – Penalty) and Jonathan Woodgate (94’) for Spurs secured what was a 2 -1 win after extra time, with Didier Drogba scoring the only goal for the Blues on that day (39’).

This was their fourth win in this competition, having also enjoyed previous triumphs back in the 1970/71, 1972/73, and the 1998/99 seasons.

The most recent competitive fixture between these two clubs at Anfield took place back on 5th May 2024, when the Reds won 4 – 2 after Mohamed Salah (16’), Andy Robertson (45’), Cody Gakpo (50’), and Harvey Elliott (59’) all scored for the home side either side of the half time break.

Overall, these two Premier League Giants have gone head to head competitively in all competitions on a grand total of no less than 183 occasions. It is Liverpool who have the superior record of 90 wins compared with 49 for Tottenham. The Reds and The Lilywhites have drawn against each other 44 times to date, as of the time of writing.
