Stamford Bridge Hospitality Dress Code
Chelsea FC operates a smart-casual dress code throughout the hospitality areas at Stamford Bridge.
Smart trainers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are permitted, but they do not allow tracksuits, casual shorts, football shirts or away colours.
These rules do not apply to children under 12 years old.
Chelsea Football Club will, if necessary, refuse entry if the dress code is not met.
Chelsea, led by their Italian Head Coach Enzo Maresca, are set to take on Scott Parker’s newly promoted Burnley side at the iconic and historic Stamford Bridge, which is located in the heart of West London, during the 2025/26 Premier League season.
A victory here for the Blues would see them take all three points and, of course, take a significant step closer to realising their ambitions this season, which is to successfully qualify for the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League for what would be the second season in a row for the club under the stewardship of Maresca.
The aforementioned Enzo Maresca is the incumbent Head Coach of Chelsea Football Club, and he has been in charge ever since he became the official successor to Mauricio Pochettino in the Stamford Bridge hot seat back on 1st July 2024. This appointment came just before the start of the 2024/25 season.
As a result, the 2024/25 campaign was his first full season in charge of the club, and it was a highly successful one that was enjoyed by all those associated with this historic team.
Starting with the Premier League, they ended up with a very respectable 4th place finish after accumulating a total of 69 points from their 38 games in the English Top Flight, which was enough to secure qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.
As for their European campaign in 2024/25, they were able to enjoy what was a historic run in the UEFA Conference League that saw them go all the way to the Final, which took place at the Wrocław Stadium in Wrocław, Poland back on the evening of Wednesday 28th May 2025, where they would come face to face with Spanish LaLiga side Real Betis.
In the end, it was to be an emphatic and well-deserved 4 – 1 triumph for the Blues, with Abde Ezzalzouli of Morocco initially giving their Spanish opponents the lead within the first ten minutes of the game in the first half, but it was all Chelsea from there. Enzo Maresca and his team scored their four goals thanks to the clinical shots on goal from the likes of Enzo Fernandez (65’), Nicolas Jackson (70’), Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho (83’), as well as the Blues’ 23 year old central midfielder Moises Caicedo in the early stages of the stoppage time in the second half (90+1’).
Moving on to Burnley, their English Head Coach Scott Parker has been in charge of the newly promoted club since he took charge of the Clarets back on Friday 5th July 2024, and in the 2024/25 campaign, his first full season in charge of the club, he led them to promotion back to the Premier League from the EFL Championship at the first time of asking after finishing in second place with no less than 100 points, only missing out on the title to Leeds United on goal difference alone.
The most recent competitive game in all competitions between these two teams was in the Premier League back on Saturday 30th March 2024 at Stamford Bridge in what was a 2 – 2 draw between them. Cole Palmer got both of the goals for Chelsea (44’ – Penalty, 78’), whilst it was Josh Cullen (47’) and central defender Dara O’Shea (81’) who scored both of the goals for the visitors, Burnley, in that particular game.
Chelsea’s most recent competitive win against the Clarets was earlier on in that same season, when they were emphatic 4 – 1 winners at Turf Moor on Saturday 7th October 2023, an own goal from Burnley defender Ameen Al Dakhil opened the scoring just before half time (42’), before there were then further goals in the second half for the Blues, coming from the likes Cole Palmer (50’ – Penalty), Raheem Sterling (65’), and Nicolas Jackson (75’).
Overall, Chelsea and Burnley have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 106 occasions, and it is the Blues who do have the superior record of no less than 42 victories in this fixture to date, whilst the Clarets have recorded a total of 38 wins against their West London counterparts overall. There have also been 26 draws between these two teams so far, as of the time of writing.
