Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town will make the journey to West London to take on Fulham in an intriguing Premier League clash.
Fulham were very unlucky not to join them in Europe after being in the race for the majority of the season.
Ipswich racked up 84 points on their way to earning automatic promotion to the Premier League and had to win on the final day to make sure they confirmed their return to the top-flight.

The Craven Cottage Hospitality Dress Code
The dress code for the Sky Deck at Fulham’s Craven Cottage is smart casual.
Acceptable attire typically includes smart jeans, chinos, and collared shirts. However, there are a few strict rules to keep in mind:
No Away Colours:Â Strictly no shirts or apparel representing the opposing team.
Footwear:Â Smart trainers are generally acceptable, but ripped/torn denim, leisurewear, and flip-flops are strongly discouraged or prohibited.
Team Allegiances:Â Home colours (Fulham gear) are perfectly fine.
Fulham is one of the oldest clubs in the world, founded in 1879. They currently play their matches at the unique Craven Cottage in West London. Marco Silva was appointed as the successor to Scott Parker following his departure for Bournemouth back in July 2021, and he has been in charge ever since.
Last season, the club finished 11th for the second consecutive season after beating Newcastle United on the final day. That result meant they missed out on Europa Conference League qualification by a single point.
One of Fulham’s highlights from the 25/26 season was the emergence of academy product Josh King. The attacking midfielder has made an immediate impact on the squad and appeared in 38 matches across all competitions.
Another bright spark to Fulham’s season was veteran striker Raul Jimenez netting ten times, despite turning 35 towards the end of the season.
Ipswich Town’s 2025/26 season was a strange one to live through, but it ended in exactly the right place.
After relegation from the Premier League, there was a clear sense of change at Portman Road. The squad looked different almost immediately, with only a small core remaining from the group that had achieved back to back promotions. Players like Liam Delap and Omari Hutchinson moved on, and it felt less like a continuation and more like starting again.
Kieran McKenna stayed in charge, and that continuity mattered. Coming into management after coaching roles at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, he had already delivered two promotions with Ipswich. This season, though, was about rebuilding rather than riding momentum.
The early weeks were uneven. Ipswich did not quite click, with a mix of draws, narrow defeats, and an EFL Cup exit to Bromley that summed up the frustration around the club at the time. There was no panic, but there was clearly work to do.
The turning point came with the 5- 0 win over Sheffield United in September. It did not fix everything overnight, but it changed the feeling around the team. Confidence started to return and performances became more consistent.
The derby win over Norwich City also stood out. Those games gave the fans something to latch onto, and you could feel the mood shift around the club on those days.
From there, Ipswich slowly climbed into a stronger position. They became harder to beat, more controlled in games, and better at managing pressure.
On 2nd May, it all came together with a 3-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at Portman Road, sealing promotion back to the Premier League.
Overall, these two clubs have gone head-to-head in competitive fixtures across all competitions on 33 occasions, and it is the hosts who have the superior record, with 14 victories compared with the Tractor Boys’ 9. Ipswich have drawn with Fulham on 10 occasions to date.
