The Italian outfit have also won the UEFA Europa League, having done so on three occasions. These titles came in 1990/91 (2 – 1 vs. AS Roma), 1993/94 (2 – 0 vs. Austria Salzburg, now RB Salzburg), and 1997/98 (3 – 0 vs. Lazio).

Last season Inter were defeated in the Round of 16 of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League, being beaten 3 – 2 on aggregate by Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Manchester City were eliminated 4 – 3 on penalties.
