The London Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

At the London Stadium, the dress code is smart casual. We advise our guests to follow this guide of what type of clothes to wear on the day. Please be aware that these rules do not apply to those under the age of 12.

• Tracksuits are not permitted.
• Only home football shirts are permitted; if our guests arrive in ‘away’ football shirts, we have the right to refuse entry.
• Jeans and trainers are allowed.

We would like to make our guests aware that oversized bags are prohibited when on arrival to the stadium, and small clutch purses are allowed.

You could potentially be denied entry if the dress code is not met.

West Ham United, led by Head Coach Julen Lopetegui, will face Fabian Hürzeler and his Brighton side at the London Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. Both the Seagulls and the Hammers will be targeting a return to European Football this season, and a win for West Ham would give them a boost in what is set to be an enthralling race.

David Moyes was the manager of the Hammers for 5 years between 2019 and 2024, leaving the club after West Ham had to settle for 52 points from their 38 matches in the Premier League, which was enough for 9th place. They missed out on Europe, and they did get knocked out of the Europa League at the Quarter Final stage, losing 3 – 1 over two legs against Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen.

The Scot did lead the Hammers to European Glory in 2023, with goals from Said Benrahma (62’ – Penalty) and Jarrod Bowen (90’), sealing a 2 – 1 win against Italian Serie A side Fiorentina in that year’s UEFA Europa Conference League Final at the Fortuna Arena in Prague.

It was on 23rd May 2024, just before the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season, that saw the announcement of Julen Lopetegui’s appointment as the successor to David Moyes at the Hammers. Moving on to Brighton, Roberto De Zerbi had been in charge of the Seagulls last season in what was the South Coast Club’s first-ever European Campaign. They were knocked out by Italian outfit AS Roma in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League, losing 4 – 1 on aggregate. He left the club after two years and following an 11th-place finish in the Premier League, after they had earned a total of 48 points from their 38 matches.

Germany’s Fabian Hürzeler was officially appointed as the club’s new manager on June 15, 2024. This came following a tremendous 2023/24 campaign with FC St. Pauli, whom he led to promotion back to the German Bundesliga after winning the second-division title and accumulating a total of 69 points from 34 matches.

These two clubs have gone head to head in all competitions a total of 61 times, and the Seagulls have the most victories with 21, compared to the Hammers’ total of 19. There have been 21 draws between them too, as of the time of writing.

West Ham United and Brighton are set to play each other at the London Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. This game is set to be intense and highly competitive, with a tremendous atmosphere to boot.
