The London Stadium Hospitality Dress Code

At the London Stadium, the dress code is smart casual. We advise our guests to follow this guide of what type of clothes to wear on the day. Please be aware that these rules do not apply to those under the age of 12.

• Tracksuits are not permitted.
• Only home football shirts are permitted; if our guests arrive in ‘away’ football shirts, we have the right to refuse entry.
• Jeans and trainers are allowed.

We would like to make our guests aware that oversized bags are prohibited when on arrival to the stadium, and small clutch purses are allowed.

You could potentially be denied entry if the dress code is not met.

West Ham United, led by their Spanish Head Coach Julen Lopetegui, will go head to head with Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United at the London Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. A victory against the Red Devils in East London would see them step closer to achieving their goal of qualifying for European Football once again.

At the end of last season, the Hammers finished 9th in the top flight with 52 points. They were also knocked out of the UEFA Europa League at the Quarter-Final stage by German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen over two legs, which saw previous manager David Moyes leave the club.

The Scot had led them for five years, and Moyes did win the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League title after beating Fiorentina of Italy’s Serie A 2 – 1 in Prague thanks to goals from Said Benrahma (62’ – Penalty) and Jarrod Bowen (90’).

It was then announced on 23rd May 2024 that former Wolves, Sevilla, Real Madrid, and Spain Manager Julen Lopetegui would be taking over from David Moyes as West Ham United’s new Head Coach. The Spaniard has previously won European silverware, which came when he led Sevilla to the 2020 UEFA Europa League title after successfully beating Italy’s Inter Milan 3 – 2.

Moving on to Manchester United, their current Manager, Ruben Amorim, took over the Red Devils back on 1st November 2024. 2022/23 was his predecessor Erik Ten Hag’s inaugural campaign in charge, he took them to a very creditable 3rdplace finish after accumulating 75 points from their 38 matches to earn them a place in the following season’s UEFA Champions League.

Last season, they finished in 8th place with 60 points, but they still secured European Football in the form of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League thanks to a 2 – 1 win at Wembley Stadium in the 2024 FA Cup Final against United’s cross-city rivals Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola. The Red Devils were, however, knocked out of the Champions League at the Group Stages.

These two clubs have played each other in all competitions 154 times, and the Red Devils have a superior record of 74 victories compared with the Hammers’ total of 48 to date. As of the time of writing, there have been 32 draws between these two teams so far.
