Is there a dress code for the VIP Silks Restaurant at Aintree for the Grand National?

There is no official dress code for the Grand National, including the VIP Silks Restaurant Hospitality Package at Aintree. You are encouraged to dress smartly, and it is seen by many as an opportunity to showcase their favourite race day.

Please note that with any fancy dress, you are required to avoid wearing inappropriate or offensive outfits, as anything deemed vulgar or derogatory may be refused entry. Also, with sportswear, avoid wearing team colours/sports kits.

What is included on the menu in the VIP Silks Restaurant for the Aintree Grand National?

There is plenty of luxurious food to enjoy throughout the day at the VIP Silks Restaurant at Aintree for the Grand National. Below is a sample menu:

On Arrival: Champagne and Strawberries with strawberry gazpacho, burrata, and mint.

To Start: Port of Lancaster hot-smoked salmon with sweet and sour red onions, lemon aioli, and pearls, served with yoghurt dressing.

Then: Contré-filet of locally sourced beef, beef fat, and Lancashire cheese rarebit, served with Wirral watercress salsa, butter-poached potato, and Roscoff onion puree.

To Finish: Milk and honey with panna cotta, gel, tuile, whipped ricotta, fennel, and lemon crumb.

Afterwards: Handpicked cheese from renowned dairy farms of England – Red, white, and blue cheeses, with breads, biscuits, and fruits.

A little later: A light tea in the afternoon – traditional, delicate sandwiches, fruit scones, fresh cream and strawberry preserve, seasonal afternoon pastries and cakes, as well as teas, infusions, and coffee.
