England are set to face Rugby World Cup runners-up New Zealand in the Autumn Internationals at the iconic Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, 2nd November 2024. Steve Borthwick’s side is currently ranked 5th in the World rankings, with their opponents now third following their World Cup Final defeat in October 2023.

England, who are led by Head Coach Steve Borthwick, are set to welcome fellow rugby heavyweights New Zealand to Twickenham for the 2024 Autumn Internationals on Saturday, 2nd November 2024.
Borthwick has been in charge since he was appointed to replace Eddie Jones on 19th December 2022. He has since led England to the semi-finals of the 2023 World Cup where, despite defeat, England managed to secure third place thanks to a 23 – 26 victory over Argentina at the Stade de France on 27th October 2023.
Both nations have won the World Cup on at least one occasion. England won it in 2003, whilst New Zealand have won it on three occasions: 1987, 2011 & 2015.
They are both heavyweights in the world of rugby, and England has won the Six Nations on no less than seven times: 2000, 2001, 2003, 2011, 2016, 2017 & 2020.
There have been several memorable matches between England and New Zealand over the years. One particularly memorable contest between these two nations came in 2012 when England secured an emphatic 38 – 21 success against the then-reigning World Cup Champions. New Zealand had won the 2011 World Cup, and they were also on a 20-match unbeaten run in Test Matches. The likes of Owen Farrell, Brad Barritt and Manu Tuilagi were among those who stood out that day for England.
England and New Zealand have played against each other many times over the years. Overall, they have met competitively on 43 occasions, with New Zealand having 33 wins to England’s 8. Despite this record, Steve Borthwick’s side will be looking to secure a statement victory at Twickenham.
