Autumn Internationals – England welcome Southern Hemisphere giants to Twickenham for three hotly anticipated Test Matches in 2017 see all the action with official Twickenham Hospitality Packages.
The Autumn Internationals have seen England produce some of their best ever performances; who can ever forget the 38-21 demolition of New Zealand in 2013, the 35-18 win over Australia in 2010 or the 53-3 rout of South Africa in 2003.
After a clean sweep of victories in the 2016 Autumn Series, the Twickenham crowd will be expecting similar performances and results in 2017.
England’s opening game of the Autumn Internatinals sees them take on world rugby’s most improved side as Argentina travel to Twickenham on Saturday 11th November 2017. The Pumas reached the semi-finals of the World Cup and played some of the most expansive rugby the sport has seen in a long-time, whilst still retaining their traditional forward dominance.
The game between the two-sides in 2016 was one of the most dramatic in the history of Twickenham. England were reduced to 14-men after just three minutes when Elliot Daly was sent-off for a dangerous tackle. Argentina scored a fabulous try through Santiago Cordero, but England fought back through Jonny May.
But the drama didn’t stop there as Argentina were also reduced to 14-men with a red-card of their own. Oh and there were yellow cards for each side – but it was England’s day as they held on to win 27-14.
The second game of the Autumn International series will see England taking on Australia on Saturday 18th November 2017. England were perfect in their four games against the Wallabies in 2016, winning the Test series 3-0 Down Under, before beating Australia 37-21 in the final game of the Autumn Internationals. A win which saw England equal their best ever winning streak.
There will be another intriguing storyline with Eddie Jones taking on the country of his birth and there is sure to be plenty of sledging between the two side ahead of the game. Twickenham will be lit up the likes of Israel Folau, David Pocock, Michael Hooper and Kurtley Beale.
Stand by for another huge game between these two great sporting nations.
The final game of the Autumn Internationals 2017 see’s England welcome Samoa to Twickenham. The islanders will be bringing their potent combination of silky skills and tremendous physicality to this hotly anticipated Test Match on Saturday 25th November 2017.
