England v India 2026 One Day International (ODI) – Edgbaston Cricket Ground – Tuesday, 14 July 2026
The historic Edgbaston Cricket Ground is iconic, and it is situated at the heart of the Second City – Birmingham. It is set to host a One Day International contest between two fierce rivals, with England taking on India in what promises to be a much anticipated match on Tuesday, 14th July 2026. The atmosphere is also set to be electric.
These two sides are amongst the best in the world, with both of these nations occupying a place in the top ten. India are currently seen as the best side in One Day International Cricket, with them ranked 1st, whilst England are sat in 8th in the ICC’s rankings to date, as of the time of writing. If England secured the win, it would be a statement triumph for the team.
These two nations last met in a test series where they drew 2 – 2 after five enthralling and highly competitive test matches held at grounds across the country. England won the first test by five wickets before India levelled the series in the very next test.
England then re-took the lead in the test series with a 22 run triumph at Lord’s before they drew with India in the fourth and penultimate test match at Old Trafford. India then levelled the series with a victory in the fifth test at the Oval.
The most recent ODI series contested between England and rivals India took place from 6th February to 12th February 2025, where India were able to win 3 – 0 after going unbeaten.
These two nations have gone head to head in One Day International Cricket on a number of occasions, with them first coming face to face in this particular discipline of competitive cricket back in 1974, when they competed for the Prudential Trophy in what was a visit from India in England. It was a 2 – 0 series win for England, who were able to secure victory in both ODI matches that year.
Then in 1982, England were able to defeat India again, and they were able to go on to win 2 – 0 one again after going unbeaten. England won an ODI series 4 – 1 in 1985, and then 2 – 0 again in 1996. Another emphatic ODI series win for England then took place once again in 2011 when India went on yet another tour on English soil.

RES Wyatt Boxes – Edgbaston Cricket Ground
Our VIP RES Wyatt Boxes Hospitality Package has plenty to offer you and your guests and clients. It offers a three course dining experience, afternoon tea, an evening snack, spirits and upgraded wines available to purchase, formal seated dining for 12 guests, as well as a matchday programme (1 per 2 guests).
There is a complimentary bar that includes house wines, beers, and soft drinks. You will also have access to a premium balcony box seating for 12 guests that is located on level 2 of the RES Wyatt Stand. You will have views of the play from behind the bowler’s arm, and you and your guests will also have access to a glass fronted facility.
1882 Suite – Edgbaston Cricket Ground

The VIP Skyline Hospitality Package has plenty to offer, including spirits and upgraded wines available to purchase, a premium match seat, unreserved informal dining, a range of high and low tables, a live DJ, a matchday programme (1 per 2 guests), as well as a hostess service.
You will also have access to a panoramic view of the pitch with the city in the background, and your premium match seat will be located in the Skyline balcony, which is to be found on level 4 of the South Stand.
Experience Club – Edgbaston Cricket Ground
As for the Experience Club, it is a VIP Hospitality Package at the historic Edgbaston Cricket Ground that offers the following: a two course street food buffer, afternoon tea, an evening snack, a complimentary bar, spirits and upgraded wines that are available for purchase, use of the Edgbaston Experience Club balcony, a premium match seat, informal dining with poseur and standing tables, an interactive game zone area, a live band, and a hostess service.
