Sportswear such as tracksuits and replica football shirts (including home team kit) and away team colours are not permitted.

Children below 14 are allowed to wear home replica football shirt, but not the whole kit.

UEFA Europa League winners Aston Villa will welcome European giant Chelsea to Villa Park in what is set to be a crucial game in the 2026/27 Premier League season.

Following a hugely successful season where Unai Emery’s Villans broke their 30-year trophy drought and once again qualified for the UEFA Champions League, they’ll be looking to go one step further and challenge at the summit of the Premier League table and go deep into Europe.

Chelsea are heading into the season disappointed following last year’s performances, which saw the Blues missing out on European qualification and finishing 10th in the Premier League.

The visitors were also dumped out of the Champions League by free-scoring Paris Saint-Germain.

Following the campaign, former Liverpool and Spain midfielder Xabi Alonso was appointed by Chelsea to lead the Londoners into the 2026/27 Premier League season.

Since retiring from playing, Alonso has impressed hugely in the dugout. The Spaniard started his managerial career at Real Sociedad B, his boyhood club. In Alonso’s second season, the club won promotion to Spain’s second division following success in the play-offs. Following their first season, in the second season, it was announced that Alonso would be leaving the club.

The former Bayern Munich player then took over at German rivals Bayer Leverkusen. In just his second season, he led the club to their first-ever Bundesliga title following a 5-0 win over Werder Bremen in April, 2024. He also guided Leverkusen to the UEFA Europa League final, where many expected his side to carry on their 51-match unbeaten record, a modern-day record. However, to the shock of many, Alonso’s side was beaten 3-0 by Italian side Atalanta.

Following his huge success in Germany, Alonso, who made 158 appearances for Real Madrid, returned to the Spanish capital to manage the Madridistas.

Managing the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, Alonso gained a lot of valuable experience which he’ll be able to bring to Stamford Bridge.

Despite winning the La Liga manager of the season in his first month in charge, Alonso struggled to make an impact in Madrid, and he was relieved of his duties in January, 2026.

After five months out of management, Alonso made the move to West London, and he brings a huge amount of excitement with him following his successful managerial career to date.

Despite it not being Chelsea’s greatest season last year, Blues supporters were treated to some fantastic performances from Joao Pedro, Enzo Fernandez and Jorrel Hato whilst also enjoying the breakout season from Brazilian youngster Estavao.

Unai Emery, who has enjoyed a trophy-laden career, has admitted he is desperate to reach the heights of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League after lifting his fifth Europa League last season.

The Spaniard has also lifted the cup with Sevilla and Villarreal throughout his 22-year managerial career.

Following his retirement from playing, Emery was appointed by lower league Spanish Lorca Deportiva CF before making the move to second division side UD Almeria.

Emery achieved promotion with Almeria, their first since 1980, which earned him a huge move to Spanish giants Valencia.

The current Villa boss spent four years at the Mestalla and qualified for the UEFA Champions League in three of his four seasons following the departure of Rafa Benitez to Liverpool.

Southern Spain was next for Emery as he was appointed by Sevilla. Despite not hitting the heights he may have achieved in domestic football, Emery lifted three Europa Leagues with the club, making him a modern icon of the club.

Following 12 seasons throughout the Spanish pyramid, Emery agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain. PSG had dominated French football for years before Emery’s arrival, and the Spaniard was expected to easily waltz towards the league title and challenge to lift the Champions League.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t quite how it worked out. In his first season, the Parisians finished runners-up to Mbappe’s AS Monaco by eight points before crashing out of the Champions League in the round of 16 against Barcelona after losing 6-1 in the second leg at the Nou Camp.

Following a brief spell with Arsenal and Villarreal, Emery now finds himself in the West Midlands managing Aston Villa.

After Steven Gerrard was dismissed by Villa, Emery became the clear frontrunner from the off, and it’s worked out superbly.

The club has now qualified for European competition for four consecutive years and lifted the Europa League after beating Freiburg in the final at Besiktas Park.
