They missed out on European Football via a top seven finish by a very narrow margin, with a 4 point gap between themselves and Nottingham Forest in seventh place.

The 2025/26 Premier League campaign will be his second full season in charge of the South Coast side.

The last time that Bournemouth were victorious in the Premier League against Brighton was at the Vitality Stadium at the backend of the 2023/24 season on Sunday, 28th April 2024. It was to be a 3 – 0 victory for the Cherries on that day, thanks to the goals that came from the likes of Marcos Senesi (13’), Enes Unal (52’), and Justin Kluivert (87’).
