This contest will be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday, 7th February 2026. The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are going to go toe to toe with Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side at the historic Vitality Stadium during the much anticipated 2025/26 Premier League season. This game on the South Coast will be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday, 7th February 2026.
Suppose the Cherries can come away victorious from this game against the Villans. In that case, they will be taking a step closer to achieving their ambitions for the current campaign, which is to successfully qualify for a European Competition for what would be the first time in their incredible history. To qualify for Europe through the Premier League, they will have to finish in the top seven.
Andoni Iraola is, of course, the current Head Coach of AFC Bournemouth, a position he has held since his appointment as Cherries boss on Monday, 19th June 2023. He came in to replace his English predecessor, Gary O’Neil, in the dugout at the Vitality Stadium on the South Coast. This will be the third full season in a row as Cherries Head Coach for the Spaniard.
The 2023/24 campaign was Iraola’s first full season in charge, and it was a very successful one under his stewardship. He was able to lead them to a very credible 12th place finish after they were able to earn a club record total of no less than 48 points from their 38 games in the top flight of English Football.
They were even better last season (2024/25), with them aiming to qualify for European Football throughout the campaign. However, in the end, they were unable to succeed in their attempts to finish in the top seven in the Premier League, with them finishing up in 9th place in the top flight. This is an excellent finish for the Cherries, who also broke their club record again for points in a season in the top flight for the second season running, with 56 points having been earned, with them finishing in 9th place overall.
Throughout their most recent Premier League campaign, many results for Bournemouth caught the eye, and one in particular was a tight and intense 2 – 1 victory against the Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City, who were the reigning champions last season. It was a game that was played at the Vitality Stadium back on Saturday 2nd November 2024, and it was Antoine Semenyo (9’) and their Brazilian striker Evanilson (64’) who were able to score the two goals for the Cherries that day, whilst it was City’s Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol who scored the only goal for the Cityzens on that particular day, late on in the game in the second half (82’).
Moving on to Aston Villa, their Spanish Head Coach Unai Emery has been in charge of the West Midlands club since taking over from Steven Gerrard on Tuesday, 1st November 2022, following his appointment announcement on Monday, 24th October 2022.
By the end of the 2022/23 season, he had guided them from a relegation battle to qualifying for European Football via the UEFA Conference League following a 7th place finish. They would go on to be knocked out in the semi final of that competition by eventual winners Olympiacos over two legs, whilst in the Premier League, they were able to finish as high as 4th place, which saw them qualify for the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League for the 2024/25 season.
In the 2024/25 campaign, he led them to a 6th place finish in the league with 66 points, which saw them qualify for the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League. As for the Champions League last term, they got knocked out at the Quarter Final stage by the eventual winners, Paris Saint-Germain, over two legs, with the French Champions winning narrowly 5 – 4 on aggregate.
The last time that Bournemouth were victorious against Aston Villa was back on Saturday, 6th August 2022 at the Vitality Stadium. It was a 2 – 0 win for the Cherries, who were able to score their goals through the likes of Jefferson Lerma (2’) and Kieffer Moore (80’), either side of half time in this game.
Overall, Bournemouth and Aston Villa have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 15 occasions, with it being Villa who currently have the superior record in this fixture of 7 victories, compared with the Cherries’ current total of 5 wins so far against their Second City counterparts. There have also been 3 draws between these two teams to date, as of the time of writing.
