The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

As Anfield offers elite Liverpool hospitality services, why not look the part? Avid Liverpool FC supporters will be glad to know that they can still deck out in your favourite team’s jerseys; however, you will be expected to maintain formal attire to reflect the sophisticated hospitality suites.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are 10 time winners of the Carabao Cup so far in their illustrious history, and they will be facing a Crystal Palace side led by their Austrian Head Coach Oliver Glasner in the Fourth Round of this season’s competition. The game itself will be taking place at Anfield in the heart of Merseyside on the evening of Wednesday 29th October 2025, with kick-off taking place at 19:45.

The Reds’ League Cup triumphs have taken place in 1981 (2 – 1 vs West Ham, Replay), 1982 (3 – 1 vs Tottenham Hotspur), 1983 (2 – 1 vs Manchester United), 1984 (1 – 0 vs Everton, Replay), 1995 (2 – 1 vs Bolton Wanderers), 2001 (5 – 4 on penalties vs Birmingham City), 2003 (2 – 0 vs Manchester United), 2012 (3 – 2 on penalties vs Cardiff City), 2022 (11 – 10 on penalties vs Manchester City), and most recently in 2024 when they were able to beat Chelsea 1 – 0 thanks to a winning goal deep into the second half of extra time thanks to their Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk (118’).

In this season’s competition, Liverpool, of course, entered at the Third Round stage, facing EFL Championship club Southampton at Anfield, who were led by their English Head Coach, Will Still. It was a 2 – 1 victory against the Saints for Slot’s side, who were able to score their goals through the likes of Alexander Isak (43’) and Hugo Ekitiké (85’), either side of half time, with both having been signed in the summer. The only goal for the visitors was to initially level the game through midfielder Shea Charles in the second half (76’).

Moving on to Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace side, they have never won this competition, with the closest that the Eagles have ever come to doing so being back in the 1992/93, 1994/95, 2000/01, and 2011/12 seasons, where they reached the Semi Finals on each occasion. They were knocked out of this competition in these campaigns by the likes of Arsenal (1992/93), Liverpool (1994/95 & 2000/01), and Cardiff City (2011/12).

Liverpool’s most recent victory against their South London counterparts was in that aforementioned 2001 League Cup Semi Final at Anfield, where goals from the likes of Vladimir Smicer (12’), Danny Murphy (15’, 51’), Igor Biscan (18’), and Robbie Fowler (89’) secured what was an emphatic 5 – 0 triumph on Merseyside under the stewardship of the late, great Gerard Houllier. They did, of course, go on to win the competition in that season at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

All eyes will be on who will be victorious in this Fourth Round tie in the 2025/26 Carabao Cup at Anfield, with the Reds looking to win some more silverware this season.
