Spurs v Man City
Premier League 2026/27
Fixture Date – 10th February 2027
Kick-off – 3pm
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
Roberto De Zerbi’s Spurs will be hoping to extend their good record over Manchester City in this hugely anticipated Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Lilywhites are unbeaten in four of the last five meetings between the two and a result here could go a long way in their ambitions to qualify for European competition this season.
City, on the other hand, have entered a new era following the appointment of Enzo Maresca. The Spaniard is the former assistant of Pep Guardiola, who enjoyed a trophy-laden decade in the blue half of Manchester.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Dress Code
Tottenham Hotspur hospitality areas require a smart casual dress code. Permitted attire includes smart jeans, trainers, and club shirts. Strictly prohibited items are tracksuits, shorts, away team colours, offensive slogans, and ripped, bleached, or torn denim. Children under 12 are generally exempt from strict requirements.
We would also like to add that if any of our guests arrive wearing slogan clothing with political or offensive statements on which are visible, we have the right to refuse entry to guests.
Spurs were experiencing a disappointing 25/26 season after already parting ways with Thomas Frank earlier in the campaign, before the appointment of Tudor.
De Zerbi came in and made an immediate impact, picking up 11 points from his 7 in charge.
Since the Italian’s arrival, Spurs sit 7th in the Premier League and will be looking to replicate that from the start of the 2026/27 season.
De Zerbi started his managerial career in the fourth tier of Italian football, taking over at Darfo Boario. The Italian stayed for just 22 games before joining Foggia in the summer of 2014. During his time there, he boasted a point per game (PPG) record of 1.86, taking the club to Italy’s second division.
After his success in Southern Italy De Zerbi got his big break in Italian football when Palermo hired the former midfielder. However, he struggled to make an immediate impact and was relieved of his duties after just 13 matches in charge, recording a PPG of 0.38.
Following his departure De Zerbi also had spells at Benevento and Sassuolo. The latter was where he really made his name in top-flight football. He spent three years in the Sassuolo dugout, managing the side for three seasons before departing for Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.
After just one season in Ukraine and a PPG record of 2.17 after 30 games De Zerbi made the jump to the English seaside, taking over at Brighton & Hove Albion. Two successful years then followed in the South of England, with Brighton qualifying for the UEFA Europa League for the first time in their history.
De Zerbi had his side competing against the elite across the Premier League and Europe, which earned him a move to Marseille. His spell at Marseille sparked more success for the 46-year-old. After 69 matches in the dugout De Zerbi departed with a PPG record of 1.81, his second highest in European football.
Then, in March, De Zerbi put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to guide Spurs back to the UEFA Champions League and compete at the summit of the Premier League.
Manchester City finished 2nd in Pep Guardiola’s final season in charge last year, finishing seven points behind Premier League Champions Arsenal.
City pushed The Gunners all the way but couldn’t quite get their hands on another Premier League title before Guardiola’s departure.
Despite missing out on the Premier League title, City did lift both domestic cups after final wins over Chelsea and Arsenal at Wembley.
Erling Haaland once again impressed throughout the campaign, getting his name on the scoresheet 38 times in all competitions.
Midway through the season, Man City brought in Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, who settled into life in Manchester very quickly.
The Ghanaian winger netted 21 across all competitions throughout the 25/26 season.
City’s new manager Enzo Maresca has found plenty of success since entering the dugout following his playing career.
Maresca managed Leicester to the EFL Championship title in 2024 before joining Chelsea as their Head Coach.
The former Juventus midfielder was a huge favourite amongst the fanbase but failed to share a vision with the club’s board of directors, resulting in them parting ways.
Overall, Spurs and City have met in a competitive fixture 176 times, and amazingly they both share 69 victories. There has also been a total of 38 draws between these two teams.
