Situated within the Earl of Derby Grandstand, Papillon combines premium dining with excellent access to the racing. The 2027 Festival takes place across three days, beginning with Opening Day on Thursday 8th April, followed by Ladies Day on Friday 9th April and Grand National Day on Saturday 10th April.

The 2026 Grand National was won by I Am Maximus, ridden by Paul Townend and trained by Willie Mullins. Should he return in 2027, another victory would give him a third success in the famous race.
