The Betfred Guineas Festival is one of Newmarket Racecourse’s most famous horse racing events, and at Eventmasters we offer two luxurious VIP hospitality packages – the Chez Roux and Private Grandstand Box hospitality Package. The festival takes place at the historic Newmarket Racecourse, which was founded in 1667. The two races at the festival, the 2000 Guineas and the 1000 Guineas are both important races in a horse racing fan’s calendar. Both of these races are historic, and began in 1809 and 1814 respectively.  Both events have been running regularly since then.
The Newmarket racecourse is known in the horse racing world as the ‘Headquarters’ and is also home to the oldest horseracing institution in the world, The Jockey Club.

Eventmasters are delighted to offer VIP Hospitality Packages for the 2026 Betfred Guineas Festival at Newmarket Racecourse. The two packages that we have on offer for this blockbuster event are called the Chez Roux and the Private Grandstand Boxes VIP Hospitality Packages for all three days, from Friday, 1st May to Sunday, 3rd May 2026.
Newmarket, one of the world’s and this country’s oldest racecourses, was founded in 1667. Additionally, King Charles II famously rode in the inaugural Newmarket Town Plate race back in 1671, where he would go on to become the first, and so far only, reigning monarch to ride a winner.
The 1000 and 2000 Guineas are both standout races with plenty of history that still run today. In the most recent Guineas Festival in 2025, it was Desert Flower, ridden by William Buick, and trained by Charlie Appleby, who was able to win the aforementioned 1000 Guineas race. As for the 2000 Guineas, this was most recently won by Ruling Court, also ridden by William Buick, who had won the year before in 2024 with Notable Speech.
Ruling Court faced some stern competition from the likes of Kieran Shoemark’s pre-race favourite Field Of Gold and Mikael Barzalona’s Shadow Of Light, both of which had to settle for what were runners-up and third place finishes respectively.

Next is the VIP Experience, which includes racecourse admission tickets and box badges, a champagne reception, a four course menu (sit down only), a VIP complimentary bar including a choice of wines, standard spirits, and soft drinks, as well as a full afternoon tea, a racecard, a TV showing some live racing, some Tote betting facilities, as well as a car parking pass (1 per 2 guests).
Finally, our Platinum Experience is able to offer you and your guests/clients racecourse admission tickets and box badges, a four course choice menu (sit down only), a VIP complimentary bar including a choice of upgraded wine selection, a Moet champagne reception, a full afternoon tea, a racecard, a TV showing some live racing, some Tote betting facilities, and finally a car parking pass (1 per 2 guests).
When it comes to the dress code, there is no specific dress code for either package, though smart attire is required. Gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt, usually accompanied by a lounge suit, whilst Ladies should also be dressed smartly for this event. Bear in mind the weather for the day and that NO denim, sportswear, or fancy dresses are permitted.
When it comes to food, both the Chez Roux and Private Grandstand Box Packages have plenty to offer you and your guests/clients. Below is a sample menu of what you can expect.
- Starter: Salmon with yoghurt, together with some sunchoke chips, pickled cucumber, and blow-torched pink grapefruit, OR Blow-torched Goat’s cheese with honey whisky poached beets, and walnut.
- Main Course: Surrey Farm Roast Beef with purple sweet potato, honey and chilli apple, and with jus too, OR herb-crusted mushrooms, which are also served with some purple sweet potato, honey and chilli apple, and jus.
- Dessert: Magnum served with a rich chocolate ganache on orange crumbs, honeycomb, orange gel, and some petals, too.
There will also be some freshly brewed coffee, along with chocolate mints, to boot.
