Jay-Z ready to takeover Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a huge night in North London

The UK’s stadiums have hosted some of the biggest names in music this summer, from record-breaking residencies to landmark performances, and there is still one major show to come.
On Friday 4 September, Jay-Z will headline Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, bringing more than three decades of hip-hop history to the capital.
After a summer that has seen Harry Styles break records with his 12-night Wembley residency, BTS return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Bad Bunny make history as the first Latin American artist to headline a UK stadium, Jay-Z is ready to deliver another major night of live music.
With more than 125 million records sold worldwide, 25 Grammy Awards and 14 Billboard 200 number-one albums, Jay-Z’s career has helped define hip-hop for more than three decades.
From his debut Reasonable Doubt through to albums including The Blueprint, The Black Album and 4:44, his catalogue is packed with songs that have become staples of modern music.
Fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can expect a set filled with some of his biggest tracks, including 99 Problems, Empire State of Mind, Run This Town, Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem), Big Pimpin’ and Public Service Announcement.
With such an extensive catalogue to choose from, the London show promises to be a celebration of one of the most influential careers in music.
Could Beyoncé make a surprise appearance?
While Jay-Z is undoubtedly the main attraction, there is one question that is likely to intrigue fans heading into the show. Could Beyoncé join him on stage?
There is currently no confirmation that Beyoncé will appear at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the possibility is enough to get fans talking.
The couple have collaborated on some of the biggest songs of their careers, including Crazy in Love, ’03 Bonnie & Clyde, Drunk in Love and Déjà Vu, and have shared the stage together on numerous occasions.
There is also an interesting coincidence surrounding the London show. The 4th September is also Beyonce’s birthday, so why wouldn’t she give herself a birthday treat of playing at one of the best stadiums in Europe?
For now, fans will have to wait until the lights go down to find out whether Jay-Z takes the stage alone or has a very special guest waiting in the wings.
