Philadelphia Eagles Face In-Form Jacksonville Jaguars in Huge NFL London Showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The NFL London Games continue this weekend as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 11th October 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 2:30pm.

Following the opening game between the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders last weekend, attention now turns to another major NFL encounter in the capital. The Eagles, Super Bowl champions in 2025, face a Jacksonville side enjoying an impressive start to the new season, with both franchises looking to secure an important victory in front of thousands of British NFL fans.

Jacksonville Jaguars Arrive in London in Excellent Form

The Jacksonville Jaguars head into Sunday’s contest with an impressive 3-1 record following consecutive victories over the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals, establishing themselves among the early contenders in the AFC.

Head Coach Liam Coen’s side recorded an emphatic 35-6 victory over New England before securing a hard-fought 22-17 win against Cincinnati last weekend. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw a touchdown pass to Brian Thomas Jr., while Chris Rodriguez Jr. also reached the end zone as the Jaguars claimed another important victory.

Jacksonville’s defence has also played a significant role in their impressive start, recording eight takeaways across their opening four matches. Against Cincinnati, interceptions from Jourdan Lewis and Foyesade Oluokun proved crucial, while Travis Hunter delivered another excellent defensive performance.

The Jaguars are now preparing for the first of two consecutive games in London, a city with which the franchise has developed a strong connection since making its first regular-season appearance in the capital in 2013.

Philadelphia Eagles Looking to Make Their Mark in London

The Philadelphia Eagles arrive in the capital with a 2-2 record after opening the campaign with two victories before suffering consecutive defeats against the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.

Nick Sirianni’s side were narrowly beaten 24-20 by the Rams last weekend, despite establishing a ten-point advantage during the contest. Quarterback Jalen Hurts threw two touchdown passes to Darius Cooper, demonstrating the attacking quality Philadelphia can produce against strong opposition.

The Eagles will be looking to return to winning ways in London, with Hurts remaining one of the NFL’s most recognisable quarterbacks. Running back Saquon Barkley is another major attraction, although his availability remains uncertain after he sustained a hamstring injury against the Rams.

Philadelphia have previously enjoyed success against Jacksonville on English soil, defeating the Jaguars 24-18 at Wembley Stadium in October 2018. Sunday’s meeting presents the Eagles with an opportunity to maintain their unbeaten record in international regular-season fixtures.

Jalen Hurts and Trevor Lawrence Set for Quarterback Showdown

One of the biggest attractions of Sunday’s contest will be the opportunity to see Jalen Hurts and Trevor Lawrence compete on the same field at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Hurts led Philadelphia to Super Bowl glory in February 2025 and remains central to the Eagles’ ambitions this season. His ability to influence games through both his passing and rushing makes him a difficult opponent for any NFL defence.

Lawrence, meanwhile, has helped Jacksonville establish an encouraging early-season record under Liam Coen. With offensive options including Brian Thomas Jr. and Brenton Strange, the Jaguars possess the quality to test Philadelphia’s defence throughout Sunday’s encounter.

Jacksonville’s impressive defensive performances also create an intriguing contest against the Eagles’ offence, with the battle between Hurts and the Jaguars’ defensive unit likely to be an important feature of the game.

NFL London Returns to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host its second NFL London fixture in consecutive weekends, providing another opportunity for American football supporters to experience regular-season action in the capital.

Alongside the contest itself, spectators can look forward to the entertainment that has become a major feature of the NFL London Games. Global Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has been confirmed as the halftime performer, adding another attraction to Sunday’s event.

With the Eagles looking to return to winning ways and Jacksonville aiming to extend its impressive start to the season, supporters have plenty to look forward to when the two franchises meet.
