Cowes Week 2019 – Location and Directions

Cowes Week is staged on the Isle Of Wight, just off the south coast of England. The racing takes place on the famous stretch of water known as the Solent which separates the Isle Of Wight from the major cities of Portsmouth and Bournemouth.

Getting to Cowes Week – Ferries

The Isle Of Wight has two major ferry links which run regularly throughout Cowes Week. If you are looking to drive to Cowes and use the ferry then please remember to book your parking as this is very limited during the racing week.

Southampton to Cowes
A car ferry route runs from Southampton to East Cowes throughout the week. There is also the option for guests to use the Red Jet fast passenger catamaran to Cowes.

Lymington to Cowes
A Blue Funnel passenger service runs throughout Cowes Week between Lymington and West Cowes.

This service departs Lymington Town Harbour Masters Jetty (next to the Harbour Office) at 07:00am and 09:30am; making the return trip from Trinity Landing on Cowes Parade at 18:30pm. The Journey time will be approximately one hour.
