Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth are coming face to face with a newly promoted Leeds United outfit, who are currently led by their German Head Coach Daniel Farke at the historic Vitality Stadium. This game will be taking place during the 2025/26 Premier League season, on the afternoon of Saturday 25th April 2026, on the South Coast. If they get all three points in this game, then the Cherries will be taking what is a crucial step closer to realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to qualify for a European Competition for the first time in this club’s history.

The Vitality Stadium Hospitality Dress Code
For hospitality at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, the dress code is generally smart casual. That usually means:
-
Men: Collared shirts, smart trousers or chinos, optional blazer; avoid sportswear, ripped jeans, or trainers.
-
Women: Dresses, skirts, smart trousers or blouses; again, avoid casual sportswear.
-
General: No football jerseys, hoodies, or caps.
Hospitality areas aim for a polished but relaxed environment—so you don’t need a suit unless you want to go extra formal.
Bournemouth, who are currently led by their Spanish Head Coach Andoni Iraola, are going to be taking on Daniel Farke’s newly promoted Leeds United outfit in a game that is set to take place at the Vitality Stadium during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This game is going to be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 25th April 2026.
If Iraola’s side are able to get all three points against their Yorkshire counterparts in this match, then the Cherries will be taking what would be a crucial step closer to them realising their ambitions for the current campaign, which are to successfully qualify for European Football ahead of next season. If they are successful in doing so by the end of the campaign, then it would be the first time in the club’s history.
The aforementioned Andoni Iraola is, of course, the current Head Coach of AFC Bournemouth, which is a prestigious post that he has held ever since his appointment as the club’s new boss back on Monday 19th June 2023. In joining the club, he was replacing his English predecessor Gary O’Neil in the dugout at the Vitality Stadium. The 2025/26 season will be his third full campaign in charge of the South Coast club.
The 2023/24 campaign was his first full season in charge, and it was a tremendous one for Amorim and everyone else who is associated with the Old Trafford club. Over the course of the 38 games that they played, they were able to accumulate as many as 48 points in the end, which was enough for what was a respectable 12th place finish. This was a new record points total for the club in the top flight of English Football.
Then came the 2024/25 season, his second campaign with the club, and it was even more successful than the one before, with Bournemouth finishing as high as 9th place, with them having been able to accumulate a points total of no less than 56, which was of course another record for the club in the top flight, and they will be looking to break their own points record once again in the Premier League this season. They were fighting for European Football all season, but they missed out in the end by a margin of just 9 points overall.
The Cherries were able to secure some very memorable results over the course of the 2024/25 campaign, with perhaps the most eye catching victory being the 2 – 1 triumph that they were able to secure against Manchester City, led by fellow Spaniard Pep Guardiola at the Vitality Stadium back on Saturday 2nd November 2024. Andoni Iraola’s side were able to score their goals through the likes of Antoine Semenyo (9’) and Evanilson (64’), whilst it was Josko Gvardiol, the senior Croatian international defender, who scored what would be the only goal of the game for City on that day late on in the game in the second half (82’).
Moving on to Leeds United, the newly promoted side, who are currently led by their German Head Coach Daniel Farke, whose appointment by the Yorkshire based outfit was officially confirmed by the club back on Tuesday 4th July 2023, where he replaced Sam Allardyce almost immediately following their relegation from the Premier League in the 2022/23 season.
They were amongst the best sides in the EFL Championship in their first season back in the second tier in the 2023/24 campaign, only to go on and finish in 3rd place with as many as 90 points, missing out on automatic promotion to the Premier League by are margin of only 6 points in the end. They did then go on to lose 1 – 0 to Southampton in the 2024 EFL Championship Play-Off Final at the iconic and historic Wembley Stadium thanks to a winning goal from Saints forward Adam Armstrong in the early stages of the first half (24’).
Then, last season, they were able to not only get promoted, they have returned to the top flight as Champions of the Championship, just as they did under Marcelo Bielsa a few years ago. They accumulated as many as 100 points in their 46 matches, but only won the title on goal difference, securing the top spot ahead of runners-up and fellow newly promoted side Burnley.
The last time that Bournemouth came face to face with Leeds United in a competitive game in the Premier League was back on Sunday 30th April 2023 at the Vitality Stadium, in what was an emphatic and well deserved 4 – 1 victory for the home side in that particular game. The Cherries were able to score their goals through the likes of Jefferson Lerma (20’, 24’), Dominic Solanke (63’), and finally Antoine Semenyo (90’). Leeds scored their only goal through striker Patrick Bamford at the half hour stage of the game in the first half (32’).
Overall, Bournemouth and Leeds United have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 15 occasions, and it is Leeds who do so far have the superior record in this fixture of 11 victories compared with the 2 that their South Coast counterparts have, to date. There have also been 2 draws between these two clubs so far, as of the time of writing.
