Chelsea are set to welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge once more in the 2024/25 Premier League season. The Blues experienced a very positive run of form towards the end of their previous top-flight campaign, and they will be looking to continue this momentum and progress further up the table.

Enzo Maresca takes the reigns over from Mauricio Pochettino as Head Coach of Chelsea Football Club following the Argentine’s departure following the end of the 2023/24 season. The former Spurs, Southampton, and Blues boss led the team to a 5th-place finish, accumulating a total of 63 points from their 38 matches in the top flight last term.

Moving on to Brighton, previous Head Coach Roberto De Zerbi left the Club following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season. De Zerbi had guided the Seagulls to their first-ever European campaign in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League after a 6th-place finish the season before.

Germany’s Fabian Hürzeler was appointed as his successor on Saturday 15th June 2024. He is the first boss in the Premier League to be born after the foundation of the league back in 1992, and he comes to the Seagulls off the back of leading FC St. Pauli to promotion back to the German Bundesliga. Hürzeler’s side won the title after successfully accumulating a total of 69 points from their 34 matches in the second tier last year.

They were knocked out by Italy’s AS Roma in the Round of 16 of the Europa League, but they went on to secure an 11th-place finish after earning a total of 48 points from 38 games.
