Stamford Bridge Hospitality Dress Code

Chelsea FC operates a smart-casual dress code throughout the hospitality areas at Stamford Bridge.

Smart trainers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are permitted, but they do not allow tracksuits, casual shorts, football shirts or away colours.

These rules do not apply to children under 12 years old.

Chelsea Football Club will, if necessary, refuse entry if the dress code is not met.

The Blues, who will be led by Interim Head Coach Callum McFarlane following the dismissal of Liam Rosenior, are set to come face to face with Roberto De Zerbi’s side at Stamford Bridge, which is located in the heart of West London, during the 2025/26 Premier League season.

The Blues are in desperate need of three points, with McFarlane looking to make an immediate impact and ensure Chelsea qualify for the UEFA Champions League despite recent defeats.

McFarlane began his coaching journey in non-league football with Croydon, where he served as assistant manager. In 2018, he followed first team head coach Harry Hudson to Whyteleafe, continuing to build his experience at grassroots level. His progression through the ranks took a significant step forward in 2020 when he departed Whyteleafe to join Manchester City, taking up an assistant role within the club’s highly regarded academy setup, where he remained until 2023.

He then moved to Southampton, initially leading the Under-18s before earning promotion to head coach of the Under-21s in February 2025. His development continued later that year with a move to Chelsea in July 2025, where he took charge of the Under-21s and also led the Under-19s in their UEFA Youth League campaign. Following the departure of first team manager Enzo Maresca in January 2026, McFarlane stepped in as interim head coach, overseeing a 1–1 draw against Manchester City. Although Liam Rosenior was subsequently appointed as permanent manager, McFarlane remained involved with the senior setup, joining the backroom staff. After Rosenior’s dismissal in April 2026, he was once again placed in interim charge of the first team until the end of the season.

Moving on to Spurs, their Danish former Head Coach Thomas Frank has been in charge since he was named Ange Postecoglou’s successor at the North London Club on Thursday, 12th June 2025, when he signed a 3-year contract expiring in 2028. The 2025/26 season was to be his first full campaign in charge following his move to the Lilywhites from fellow London club Brentford.

However, following a poor run of form in the Premier League that left the Lilywhites down in 16th place on 29 points, Thomas Frank was dismissed. His departure was officially confirmed by the North London club on Wednesday, 11th February 2026.

Spurs then officially confirmed Igor Tudor as their new Head Coach, replacing Thomas Frank, on Saturday, 14th February 2026. Tudor was then dismissed as manager after just 44 days in charge and Spurs’ hunt now begins for a suitable replacement to head them into this game.

The North London club then confirmed Roberto De Zerbi as the new Head Coach on a five-year deal, with the Italian now tasked with steering Spurs through the final stretch of the season and aiming to secure the best possible league finish.

De Zerbi first made his name in England with Brighton & Hove Albion, where he led the club to its highest‑ever Premier League finish of sixth place and historic qualification for the UEFA Europa League. After departing Brighton in 2024, he went on to manage Olympique de Marseille, guiding them to a second‑place finish in Ligue 1 in the 2024/25 season and securing a UEFA Champions League spot which was one of the club’s strongest league campaigns in recent history.

The last time that these two clubs went face to face competitively in all competitions was in the Premier League back on Saturday 1st November 2025 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what was a tight and tense 1 – 0 victory for Chelsea in the end. The winning goal for them in the end was scored by Joao Pedro late on in the firsgt half on that day (34’).

Overall, Chelsea and Spurs have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 180 occasions, and it is the Blues who do have the superior record of no less than 82 victories in this fixture compared with the Lilywhites’ 56 wins so far against their West London counterparts. There have also been as many as 42 draws between these two teams so far, as of the time of writing.
