Stamford Bridge Hospitality Dress Code
Chelsea FC operates a smart-casual dress code throughout the hospitality areas at Stamford Bridge.
Smart trainers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are permitted, but they do not allow tracksuits, casual shorts, football shirts or away colours.
These rules do not apply to children under 12 years old.
Chelsea Football Club will, if necessary, refuse entry if the dress code is not met.
A fierce rivalry is set to be renewed when Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea come face to face with a Spurs side who are currently led by their Danish Head Coach Thomas Frank at the iconic and historic Stamford Bridge, which is located in the heart of West London on what is the final day of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Victory for the home side would most certainly be a positive way to end the campaign, during which they look to secure themselves qualification for the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League, which if they do, is something that the club will have accomplished for the second season in succession.
The aforementioned Liam Rosenior had a long playing career that spanned no less than 16 years, and he represented a number of clubs including, but not limited to – Fulham (2003 – 2007), Reading (2007 – 2010), Hull City (2010 – 2015), and finally Brighton from 2015 to 2018.
Next came the start of his managerial career, which began with Derby County where he was the interim manager of the Rams for a few months between the departure of Wayne Rooney and the arrival of his permanent successor, Paul Warne. This was from June to September 2022.
Next up was his first permanent role in management, becoming the Head Coach of his former club Hull City, taking over from his predecessor Shota Arveladze in November 2022. And, by the end of that 2022/23 campaign, they ended up well clear of relegation in 15th place, and with a total of 58 points to their name after 46 games.
Then, despite signing a new contract during the 2023/24 season, where they would end up just a few points below the play-offs in the Championship in 7th place, he was dismissed by the Tigers, which did come as a shock for the world of football.
He then joined Strasbourg who had seen the positive impact that he had made with Hull. Liam Rosenior became the permanent Head Coach for the French Ligue 1 club following the departure of Patrick Vieira in July 2024.
In the 2024/25 campaign, his only full season in charge, he guided them to what was a very respectable and positive 7th place finish with 70 points, which was enough for them to qualify for the UEFA Conference League for the following season. They also narrowly missed out on UEFA Europa League last term, doing so on goal difference alone, with French Giants Lyon claiming the final Europa League place in 6th overall.
Moving on to Spurs, their Danish Head Coach has been in charge ever since he was named as Ange Postecoglou’s successor at the North London Club back on Thursday 12th June 2025, where he signed a 3 year contract expiring in the year 2028. The 2025/26 season will be his first full campaign in charge following his move to the Lilywhites from fellow London club Brentford.
The 2024/25 season was spent under the stewardship of the Dane’s predecessor, with Postecoglou leading them to what was a 17th place finish in the Premier League with a total of 38 points being accumulated from their 38 games overall. They had better luck in Europe, where they went on to win the UEFA Europa League at the San Mames in Bilbao, Spain.
They were able to beat fellow Premier League outfit Manchester United 1 – 0 in the 2025 Europa League Final, with the winning goal being scored in the end thanks to an effort from Brennan Johnson in the latter stages of the first half, just before the half time break (42’).
The last time that these two clubs went face to face competitively in all competitions was in the Premier League back on Saturday 1st November 2025 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what was a tight and tense 1 – 0 victory for Chelsea in the end. The winning goal for them in the end was scored by Joao Pedro late on in the firsgt half on that day (34’).
Overall, Chelsea and Spurs have met competitively in all competitions on no less than 180 occasions, and it is the Blues who do have the superior record of no less than 82 victories in this fixture compared with the Lilywhites’ 56 wins so far against their West London counterparts. There have also been as many as 42 draws between these two teams so far, as of the time of writing.
