Stamford Bridge Hospitality Dress Code

Chelsea FC operates a smart-casual dress code throughout the hospitality areas at Stamford Bridge.

Smart trainers, smart jeans and tailored shorts are permitted, but they do not allow tracksuits, casual shorts, football shirts or away colours.

These rules do not apply to children under 12 years old.

Chelsea Football Club will, if necessary, refuse entry if the dress code is not met.

Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea are set to take on a newly promoted Leeds United side led by their German Head Coach Daniel Farke at the iconic and historic Stamford Bridge, which is located in the heart of West London, during the 2025/26 Premier League season.

A win here against their Yorkshire counterparts for Chelsea would see the Blues take a crucial step closer to realising their ambitions for the current season, which is to qualify for the highly prestigious UEFA Champions League for the second consecutive season.

Succeeding former Blues boss Enzo Maresca in the dugout, Liam Rosenior was appointed by the Stamford Bridge club on Tuesday 6th January 2026, signing a long term contract that expires in 2032.

In terms of his playing career, this spanned a total of almost 20 years, 16 years to be precise, with him representing a number of clubs in English Football, including the likes of Fulham (2003 – 2007), Reading (2007 – 2010), Hull City (2010 – 2015), and finally South Coast side Brighton (2015 – 2018).

Moving on to his managerial career, Rosenior first held a role as interim head coach at Derby County following the departure of Wayne Rooney in June 2022, and he remained in this position until the appointment of Rooney’s permanent successor, Paul Warne, a few months later.

He then became a permanent Head Coach for the first time when he was appointed by Championship side Hull City back in November 2022, leading the club to what was a respectable 15th place finish with 58 points after they had been in deep relegation trouble under his predecessor Shota Arveladze.

Despite signing a new three year deal in December 2023, and achieveing a tremendous 7th place finish with Hull in the 2023/24 season, earning 70 points, he was dismissed from his position.

A number of clubs were admirers of the aforementioned Liam Rosenior, and it was Ligue 1 Strasbourg who acquired his services as their new Head Coach back in July 2024.

In his first and only full season in charge of the French club (2024/25), he led them to a 7th place finish to secure them a place in the following season’s UEFA Conference League, earning 57 points in total, missing out UEFA Europa League on goal difference.

Moving on to Leeds United, their German Head Coach, Daniel Farke, has been in charge of the newly promoted club since he took charge of the Yorkshire outfit on 4th July 2023. He led his side to a 3rd place finish in the EFL Championship, losing out to Leicester City and Ipswich Town for automatic promotion.

They then would go on to beat West Brom in the play-offs before being defeated 1 – 0 by Southampton at the iconic and historic Wembley Stadium, where the winning goal was scored by Adam Armstrong within the first half of the match, just before half an hour had gone in this game (24’).

But then in the second season with Farke at the helm, Leeds managed to win the second tier title and earn automatic promotion back to the Premier League at the second time of asking after earning a grand total of 100 points, but they only finished top on goal difference ahead of runners-up Burnley in second place.

The most recent competitive game in all competitions between these two teams was in the 5th Round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 28th February 2024, where Chelsea won 3 – 2 thanks to goals from the likes of Nicolas Jackson (15’), Mykhailo Mudryk (37’), and finally Conor Gallagher (90’).

Overall, Chelsea and Leeds United have met competitively in all competitions on 110 occasions, and it is Leeds who have the superior record, with 41 wins in this fixture, compared to the Blues’ total of 39 overall so far.
