The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

As Anfield offers elite Liverpool hospitality services, why not look the part? Avid Liverpool FC supporters will be glad to know that they can still deck out in your favourite team’s jerseys; however, you will be expected to maintain formal attire to reflect the sophisticated hospitality suites.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

The intense rivalry that comes with the Merseyside Derby is set to resume when Arne Slot’s Liverpool welcomes Sean Dyche’s Everton to Anfield in the 2024/25 Premier League season. Bragging rights are at stake for both sides, and with a win, the Reds would not only earn this, but they would also gain three more points in order to edge closer to another English top-flight title.

Arne Slot took charge of the fourth football club of his illustrious managerial career when he was confirmed as the successor to the legendary Jurgen Klopp on 20th May 2024. This followed a four-year spell at Dutch Giants Feyenoord, where he led them to the 2022/23 Eredivisie title and to a 1 – 0 win in the 2023/24 KNVB Final at their De Kuip home ground against NEC Nijmegen to win this trophy for the 14th time in their history.

Before that, he had a spell in charge of AZ Alkmaar and fellow Eredivisie club Cambuur, the latter of whom he led to promotion to the Dutch Top Flight, the Eredivisie, before moving to AZ not long after that.

Moving on to Everton, Sean Dyche took charge of the Toffees back on 30th January 2023. And, in his first half season at the club in 2022/23, he managed to lead the club to Premier League safety thanks to a 17thplace finish after earning 36 points from their 38 matches.

Last season, 2023/24, they went on to finish in 15th place finish after ending up with 40 points to their name and with a cushion of no less than 14 points between them and the relegation zone, even after the points deductions that the Toffees suffered.

There have been several memorable Merseyside Derbies over the years, one of which will be a very fond memory for Liverpool fans. It took place on November 6, 1982, at Goodison Park, and Liverpool won 5 – 0 thanks to four goals from the legendary Ian Rush and a goal from Mark Lawrenson.

These two local rivals have faced each other in a competitive fixture in all competitions on a total of 295 occasions, and it is the Reds who have the most wins in this iconic and historic fixture with no less than 125 victories compared to the Toffees’ total of 84 wins. There have been a total of 86 draws between these two Merseyside teams.
