Mohamed Salah led the way in goals for Liverpool last term with 19 in 38 matches, with Roberto Firmino coming a close 2nd place with 11 to his name. Summer signing Darwin Núñez got 9, whilst Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota got 7 goals each.

Emery led Villa on an extraordinary run of form in the second half of the season, going from relegation trouble to qualify for the Europa Conference League, finishing in 7th place with 61 points.
Villa secured European football on the final day following a 2-1 win against Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton at Villa Park.
