The dress code for hospitality facilities at Anfield Stadium is smart casual to ensure a formal atmosphere.

As Anfield offers elite Liverpool hospitality services, why not look the part? Avid Liverpool FC supporters will be glad to know that they can still deck out in your favourite team’s jerseys; however, you will be expected to maintain formal attire to reflect the sophisticated hospitality suites.

Hospitality guests are not permitted to wear ripped denim or tracksuits. In addition to this, please be aware that if you are arriving at The Beautiful Game, there is a smart casual dress code where trainers, football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are set to welcome top four challengers Aston Villa to the iconic and historic Anfield in the 2024/25 Premier League season. The title is being targeted by Slot and his Reds side this term, and victory would add further momentum to their season and boost their chances of a top-flight title.

Following the departure of Club Legend Jurgen Klopp, Dutchman Arne Slot was appointed as the German Manager’s successor on the red side of Merseyside on 20th May 2024. After securing promotion to the Eredivisie alongside Siple Hulshoff at Cambuur, he left the club he had joined in 2016 for AZ Alkmaar, initially as assistant manager before taking over as Head Coach on 10th December 2018, when he succeeded John van den Brom.

He followed this up last season (2023/24) with a win in the KNVB Cup Final (the Dutch FA Cup), where he defeated NEC Nijmegen 1 – 0 thanks to a goal from Brazilian forward Igor Paixao.

Moving on to Aston Villa, their current Head Coach, Unai Emery, took charge of the West Midlands outfit on 24th October 2022, just days after a heavy 3 – 0 defeat against Fulham, which saw his predecessor Steven Gerrard get dismissed just hours after the final whistle at Craven Cottage. In his first half season, 2022/23, he led the club to a 7th-place finish with 61 points and qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Last season, they beat Legia Warsaw, AZ Alkmaar (Twice), Ajax, and Lille on their way to their first European Semi-Final since 1982. However, they were defeated over two legs by eventual winners Olympiacos. In the 2023/24 Premier League season, the Villans finished fourth with 68 points and qualified for the UEFA Champions League under the Spaniard’s stewardship.

These two clubs have gone head to head on no less than 203 occasions to date. At the time of writing, the Reds have the superior record of 102 victories against the Villans, with their West Midlands counterparts having 59 wins in total. There have also been 42 draws between them.
