Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs will be going face to face with Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the 2024/25 Premier League season. The Lilywhites narrowly missed out on the top four and UEFA Champions League Qualification because of Unai Emery’s side, and this season, Tottenham will be looking to finish in the top four themselves as they seek a return to European Football’s premier club competition.
Being appointed shortly after the conclusion of the 2022/23 season on 6th June 2023, current Spurs Head Coach Ange Postecoglou ended his first full campaign in charge of the club, 2023/24, in a respectable 5th place, which saw them successfully secure qualification for the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League. They did, however, very narrowly miss out on UEFA Champions League and fourth (4th) place by a very narrow margin of 2 points to Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
Postecoglou has also already made history as Spurs boss. Last season, he became the first manager to win the manager of the month award in both of his first two months in charge, while also breaking the record for the most points earned by any Premier League Manager in the opening nine games of the season, with 23 points in all.
Moving on to Aston Villa, Head Coach Unai Emery has been in charge since he was chosen to succeed Steven Gerrard at Villa Park in October 2022. His first half-season at the helm saw him lift the Villans from 17th to 7th – securing qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Villa’s upward trajectory continued last season (2023/24) under the Spaniard’s stewardship. They finished in 4th place with 68 points, qualifying for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League. They also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League, only to be knocked out by Greek Giants Olympiacos over two legs.
These two clubs have come face to face in a competitive fixture on a total of 174 times over the years, with Tottenham Hotspur having the most wins with 78, compared to the Villa’s total of 60. There have been 36 draws in all between them so far.

In the East Stand, prices range from £1,291 to £2,367 – however, Seniors, Juniors and Young Adults are unable to buy a season ticket in the upper tier of this stand. In the lower tier of this stand, Prices for young adults are £803. For seniors and juniors, it’s £536, whilst for Adults, the price ranges from £1,071 to £1,614. In the South Stand, we start with the prices in the upper section. For adults the prices range from £941 to £1,211, whilst it ranges from £471 to £606 for seniors and juniors. As for young adults, the prices here range from £706 to £908. In the lower section, the prices are as follows: Adults – £1,071, Senior Citizens – £536 and £803 for Young Adults. No junior season tickets are available to purchase here. The 1882 season ticket seats are situated in the South Stand and are a premium package. These season tickets cost £2,367. In the West Stand, the prices for the upper tier are as follows: Adults – £856 to £2,147, Seniors & Juniors – £428, Young Adults – £642. As for the lower tier, the prices are Adults – £1,291 to £2,367, Seniors/Juniors: £536, Young Adults – £803.
