Tottenham Hotspur side will be welcoming a Fulham side led by their Portuguese Head Coach Marco Silva in what is a London Derby. This game is set to be played at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the heart of North London during the 2025/26 Premier League season. This is set to be a contest between two clubs who are both looking to qualify for European Football this season.

Every game is important for the Lilywhites this season as they look to finish in the upper reaches of the table and secure some European Football once again. The importance of this game means that the occasion will bring with it not only an enthralling and highly competitive game but there will also be a sensational atmosphere at the stadium for this match.

The 2024/25 season was former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou’s second and final campaign in charge, and it will be remembered best by Spurs fans for their historic 2025 UEFA Europa League Final win against Manchester United at the famous San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain. It was a tight and tense game which yielded what was a 1 – 0 victory for Spurs in the end following a winning goal from their Welsh international forward Brennan Johnson late on in the first half (42’).

Tottenham’s road to the final began back in the League Phase, where they were able to successfully finish in the top eight so they could reach the knockout rounds automatically without having to go through a play-off tie. The league phase for Spurs included victories against the likes of Hungary’s Ferencvaros (2 – 1), the Netherlands’ AZ Alkmaar (1 – 0), and Germany’s Hoffenheim as well, beating the Bundesliga outfit 3 – 2 in the end away from home.

The Round of 16 tie saw them come up against the aforementioned AZ Alkmaar again, this time over two legs in what was a crucial 3 – 2 victory on aggregate for the English club against their Dutch counterparts. This triumph did set up a Quarter Final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt of the German Bundesliga for Tottenham Hotspur.

The first leg of this tie against Die Adler (The Eagles) was played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the English Capital was a game that ended on level terms at 1 – 1 before a goal from the penalty spot from their striker Dominic Solanke secured a crucial 1 – 0 win that saw Spurs come away as the 2 – 1 winners on aggregate in order to secure themselves a place in the final four.

The semi finals were next, and it was Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt who were the opponents for Tottenham Hotspur, who were the hosts for the first leg of this tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London. The second leg took place at the home of Bodø/Glimt, the Aspmyra Stadion. Moving on to Fulham, they have had Marco Silva as their Head Coach ever since he was appointed back on 1st July 2021, when he succeeded Scott Parker in the Craven Cottage hotseat. It was in the 2021/22 season that the Portuguese led them to promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking after they earned no less than 90 points from their 46 matches to finish first in the English Second Tier, where they also scored 106 goals.

In their first season back in the top flight in 2022/23 they finished in 10th place with 52 points to comfortably avoid relegation after finishing no less than 18 points above the bottom three. In the 2023/24 campaign, they were a mid table side again, this time finishing in 13th place with 47 points from their 38 matches.

Last season (2024/25), Fulham was one of the many clubs who were challenging for European Football, but unfortunately for them, they missed out on a top seven finish in the end with the West London outfit having to settle for what was an 11th place finish after earning a total of 54 points overall.

Overall, Spurs and Fulham have met competitively in all competitions on 107 occasions, and it is Tottenham who currently has the most wins to their name in this fixture so far with 55 wins as of the time of writing, whilst the Cottagers currently have 21 to their name to date.
