Tottenham Hotspur will welcome a Crystal Palace side led by their Austrian Head Coach, Oliver Glasner, at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, located in the heart of North London, during the 2025/26 Premier League season.

This season sees Spurs target European qualification once again, and they know that a win against their South London counterparts would most certainly aid their efforts to do just that.

And, as a result, the atmosphere for this match in the Premier League will be electric for what promises to be enthralling and very competitive between two teams who like to play attractive football.

Last season (2024/25), was Ange Postecoglou’s second and final campaign in charge of Spurs. The main highlight of this campaign was the 2025 UEFA Europa League Final victory for Spurs, who were able to beat fellow Premier League club Manchester 1 – 0 in Bilbao, Spain. It was Brennan Johnson who scored the only goal of the game, scoring the winning goal for Tottenham late on in the first half (42’).

The run to the final began in the league phase, where they were able to get victories against the likes of Ferencvaros (2 – 1), AZ Alkmaar (1 – 0), and Hoffenheim as well, who play their football in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga. This Spurs team were able to beat them 3 – 2 in what was a thrilling and highly competitive game away from home for Spurs.

Then in the Round of 16, Tottenham were to go toe to toe with AZ Alkmaar again, this time over two legs in this knockout tie. In the end, the Lilywhites were able to come out on top to beat their Dutch counterparts 3 – 2 on aggregate overall. This saw them book their place in the Quarter Finals of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League successfully.

Then it was German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt who were next for Tottenham in the Quarter Finals. In the first leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London, it ended in a stalemate when they drew 1 – 1. Then with the tie open for both sides in the second leg, Spurs won the game at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany thanks to a successful penalty kick from striker Dominic Solanke. It was a 2 – 1 victory on aggregate for Tottenham overall.

Bodø/Glimt were the opponents for Spurs over two legs in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League Semi-Finals. The first leg at the world famous Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was won comfortably by Tottenham who won 3 – 1 going into the second leg, where they would now have a two goal advantage over their Norwegian opponents.

The second leg against their Norwegian counterparts took place at the Aspmyra Stadion, where it was a comfortable and thoroughly deserved 3 – 0 victory for the Lilywhites, who did seal what was a truly emphatic 5 – 1 victory on aggregate to get to the final which they, of course, won to the delight of all associated with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Former Spurs Boss Ange Postecoglou left the club shortly after the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

Moving on to Crystal Palace, their Austrian Head Coach Oliver Glasner has been in charge ever since he succeeded Roy Hodgson on 19th February 2024. In his first few months in charge, he led Palace to safety with a 10th place finish with 49 points to their name after he managed to lead them away from a relegation battle.

The 2024/25 season was Glasner’s first full campaign in charge of the club, and he made history with them by beating Manchester City in the 2025 FA Cup Final to win their first-ever major trophy in the entirety of their history. It secured qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League.
