If they manage to earn all three points with a win against the Foxes, then the Lilywhites will take a significant step closer to their ultimate goal of securing a return to the UEFA Champions League.
66 points were earned from Spurs’ 38 games over the course of the 2023/24 Premier League season – and this was enough to secure them a 5thplace finish in the end in what was Postecoglou’s maiden season in charge of the Lilywhites. His team will be even more determined to secure a top-four place and UEFA Champions League football after missing out by a margin of just 2 points last season.
Postecoglou took over on June 6, 2023, becoming the first Greek-born manager to take charge of a Premier League club. He also made more history last season. His side earned a total of 23 points from his first nine games in charge (7 wins, 2 draws), which is a record for a manager’s first nine games at a new club. This beat Guus Hiddink’s original record of 22 points with Chelsea in 2009/10.
This outstanding start also saw the Australian Head Coach become the first to earn two Manager of the Month awards in his first two in charge of Spurs.
Moving on to Leicester City, they were led to promotion by Enzo Maresca, who took over at the Foxes on 16 June 2023 after a year as one of Pep Guardiola’s assistant managers at Manchester City. He led them to an instant return to the Premier League, securing the title after earning no less than 97 points from their 46 matches in the second tier of English Football.
Following Maresca’s departure for Premier League rivals Chelsea, Steve Cooper, formerly of Nottingham Forest, took charge as the Italian’s successor at the King Power Stadium. Cooper led Forest to the Premier League for the first time in more than two decades after his side managed to beat Huddersfield Town 1 – 0 in the 2022 EFL Championship Play-Off Final.
These two clubs have met competitively on 120 occasions, with Tottenham having the superior record of 61 wins compared to the Foxes’ total of 38. There have been just 21 draws between them in all competitions so far.

How much will Spurs season ticket cost??
Season tickets at Tottenham for the 2024/25 campaign will, of course, vary according to which part of the stadium you will be sitting in. You can see all of the season ticket prices below for next season. In the East Stand, prices range from £1,291 to £2,367 – however, Seniors, Juniors and Young Adults are unable to buy a season ticket in the upper tier of this stand. In the lower tier of this stand, Prices for young adults are £803. For seniors and juniors, it’s £536, whilst for Adults, the price ranges from £1,071 to £1,614. In the South Stand, we start with the prices in the upper section. For adults the prices range from £941 to £1,211, whilst it ranges from £471 to £606 for seniors and juniors. As for young adults, the prices here range from £706 to £908. In the lower section, the prices are as follows: Adults – £1,071, Senior Citizens – £536 and £803 for Young Adults. No junior season tickets are available to purchase here. The 1882 season ticket seats are situated in the South Stand and are a premium package. These season tickets cost £2,367. In the West Stand, the prices for the upper tier are as follows: Adults – £856 to £2,147, Seniors & Juniors – £428, Young Adults – £642. As for the lower tier, the prices are Adults – £1,291 to £2,367, Seniors/Juniors: £536, Young Adults – £803.
