By the end of the season, Tottenham will be looking to secure a return to European football and gain momentum with a victory against their North East counterparts, who will also be aiming to finish in the top seven of the English top flight this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur Head Coach Ange Postecoglou was in charge for two years, and the 2024/25 season was his second and final full campaign in charge, marking a memorable one for the club in terms of its success in Europe.

Now, there was only one club standing in their way of the 2025 UEFA Europa League Final, which was the Norwegian heavyweights Bodø/Glimt in the last four. The first leg of this Semi-Final tie took place in the English Capital at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs beating their opponents 3–1 in the heart of North London before going on to beat them again in the second leg, this time at the Aspmyra Stadion in Norway.

Moving on to Newcastle United, their Head Coach, Eddie Howe, has been in charge since he took over from his predecessor, Steve Bruce, on 8th November 2021.

They finished up in 5th place after earning what was a grand total of 66 points from their 38 matches, only securing a top-five finish on goal difference, just ahead of Aston Villa in sixth overall.
