The calendar begins with the world-famous Royal Ascot, taking place from Tuesday 15th to Saturday 19th June 2027. One of the highlights of the British sporting summer, the five-day meeting features eight Group 1 races, including the prestigious Ascot Gold Cup on Ladies Day.
Summer racing continues with the ever-popular Summer Mile Racing Weekend, followed by the prestigious King George Weekend, where the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes once again takes centre stage as one of Europe’s most valuable and celebrated races.
August sees the return of the colourful Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup, where international teams compete for one of racing’s most unique trophies, alongside live entertainment after racing. September welcomes the Big Ascot Food & Wine Racing Weekend, combining top-class racing with outstanding food and drink experiences.
Autumn brings the BetMGM Autumn Racing Weekend, before one of the most prestigious fixtures in the racing calendar arrives with British Champions Day in October. Widely regarded as the grand finale of the Flat season, it attracts many of the world’s finest horses, jockeys and trainers competing across an outstanding programme of Group races.
The season continues with the spectacular Fireworks Spectacular Family Race Day, the November Racing Weekend, and the festive Howden Christmas Racing Weekend, which features high-quality Grade 1 and Grade 2 National Hunt action.
Jump racing returns in the new year with the Clarence House Chase Race Day in January, followed by the Betfair Ascot Chase Race Day in February, both key fixtures on the road to the Cheltenham Festival.
The season concludes with the family-friendly Spring Family Race Day in March before Ascot Trials Day in late April provides an exciting preview of the stars set to compete at Royal Ascot later in the year.
