The road to the Cheltenham Festival continues at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday 30th January 2027 for Festival Trials Day.
Named after the 1962 Gold Cup winner, The Mandarin combines racing heritage with a contemporary Cotswold-inspired gastro pub setting.
We are Official Hospitality Providers who are directly appointed by Cheltenham Racecourse.
We are delighted to offer our Mandarin Restaurant Package for Festival Trials Day 2027.
There is no specific dress code for The Mandarin, although the minimum requirement is smart casual.
Guests are encouraged to dress to feel their best, while taking the weather into consideration when choosing what to wear.
Fancy dress is not permitted.
10:30am: Hospitality facility opens and guests arrive for morning tea and coffee.
12:00pm: Three-course pub-style lunch is served.
1:20pm: The first race of the day gets underway.
4:00pm: Feature race of the day takes place.
Afternoon: Guests can enjoy the later stages of the racecard from the hospitality facility and private balcony.
5:20pm: Final race of the day.
6:00pm: Hospitality facility closes and guests depart.

The Mandarin is situated on the ground floor of the Grandstand and features a private balcony overlooking the finishing straight.
Guests can enjoy morning tea and coffee before a three-course à la carte pub lunch, with easy access to the Parade Ring and other racecourse facilities throughout the day.
The restaurant’s cosy gastro pub-style setting offers a relaxed atmosphere, while its Cotswold feel and traditional racing stable-inspired interior provide an appropriate setting for an important day in the build-up to the Cheltenham Festival.
