The countdown to the Cheltenham Festival continues at Cheltenham Racecourse with Festival Trials Day on Saturday 30th January 2027.
The meeting provides another opportunity to experience competitive jump racing at Prestbury Park as anticipation builds towards the Festival in March.

One of the most popular facilities available at Cheltenham, the National Hunt Room offers a course-facing setting in the main Grandstand, allocated seating and a balcony overlooking the Parade Ring.
There is no official or strict dress code for the National Hunt Room or general areas at Cheltenham Racecourse. However, guests in hospitality and restaurants generally dress in smart-casual or smart attire.
The official motto is to dress to feel your best, while keeping practical and warm clothing in mind for the weather.
10:30am: Hospitality facility opens; arrival of guests.
11:00am: Morning coffee, tea and biscuits served alongside a welcome Buck’s Fizz or reception drink.
12:00pm: Buffet lunch service begins, offering a flexible dining experience.
1:20pm: First race of the day gets underway. Timings vary slightly depending on the official fixture list.
3:30pm – 4:00pm: Afternoon feature races take place, viewable from your allocated Grandstand seating or nearby viewing steps.
4:30pm: Traditional afternoon tea served after the major racing action.
5:30pm: Final race of the day concludes.
6:00pm: Bar services wind down and the hospitality facility closes.

Festival Trials Day is an important fixture in the build-up to the Cheltenham Festival, with Saturday 30th January providing another opportunity to enjoy jump racing at Prestbury Park before the Festival in March.
The National Hunt Room provides an excellent hospitality base for the day.
The package includes a Drinks Reception, morning coffee and biscuits, buffet lunch and afternoon tea.
Guests also receive allocated Grandstand seating overlooking the racecourse, with access to viewing steps overlooking the course and/or Paddock.
The facility features a balcony overlooking the Parade Ring, while the flexible buffet lunch means guests can enjoy their dining experience around the day’s racing.
There is no reason to leave the National Hunt Room throughout the day, making it a particularly convenient option for entertaining clients and guests.

The package also includes access to an on-site Tote betting facility and dedicated host team service.

Lunch consists of a chef’s seasonal buffet, featuring hot main courses, fresh salads and local accompaniments. Traditional afternoon tea is served later in the afternoon.
